GoWISE USA 5.0-Quart 1500-Watt Digital Air Fryer with 8 Presets, GW22821-S + 50 Recipes (Black)

Never having tried an air fryer, we were a bit dubious if it would really make decent fried foods without the grease. This unit was a best buy by America's Test Kitchen. So far, we've made chicken thighs, coconut shrimp, fried tofu, onion rings, and fried potatoes. The results - terrific. Just a slight spray of olive oil is all that's required. Cleanup is a breeze. Food comes out crispy and delicious. Simple to set up.So far, we have not even opened the recipe book that comes with it, there are so many delicious sounding recipes on the internet. Vegetable tempura will be next. Very pleased.

I bought it to make crispy fried pork belly and it's fantastic.... I just got this air fryer a couple of days ago because my wonderful oyama turbo oven died after like 3 years of great service. So after reading all the reviews I bought this mainly because I wanted to make crispy fried pork belly and I like the part that you could just pull out the pot without having to look for a place as to where to park a lid because there is no lead! Anyway you can see the picture above. I bypassed every single YouTube video on crispy pork belly because I had no time. I just threw in center cut pork belly inside Amazon purchased 3 QT instant pot for the setting for meet, and the bone fell off, then I dried it off with napkins poked a bunch of holes on the skin, finally remembered to salt the skin, placed it in one of those tiny little loaf pans, and then air fried it 400° for 7 minutes. The skin is fantastic delicious. By the way I wanted the meat separate so I cut off some of the meat, so I was mostly frying just the top half inch a skin and fat. The crispy skin was so crunchy and delicious. I didn't do any of the stuff you see on YouTube, I didn't flavor it when I first put it into the instant pot mainly because I forgot to, and then I also did not put it into the refrigerator to dry it out because I just didn't have the time, I just wiped the skin dry, put a little salt on top and put it into the air fryer. Fantastic delicious fantastic so glad I bought this air fryer! You may not have the tiny little loaf pan that I had so your time may be a little bit different but you can just turn on that wonderful wonderful practical little light bulb so you can see the skin crisping. That little light allowed me to see how the skin was crackling! This is incredible machine. So very glad I read all these positive reviews. I also followed directions on how to use this the first time which is, washing the pan and inner pot with light soapy water using one of those soft dish towel, and then totally empty, I turned on the air fryer for 5 minutes at 350° per their manual. This apparently Cooks off any kind of leftover smell or anything from manufacturing. I did not see any or smell any smoke or any chemical smell. It was just perfect.

Easy to use, easy to clean, fair price, As a rookie air fryer user my confidence improves every day. This for me is a beginners kit and it gets rid of the use of a conventional oven.

First, this is outstanding in it's class as far as air fryers go. The basket design is very versatile... In place of the typical "fryer-style" basket is a removable "grid" in the bottom off the pan. There is also a removable divider piece that allows you to cook two separate items simultaneously. Remove them all and you can "bake" items like a small pizza or even a small round cake (the included cookbook has a LOT of great ideas to consider). This, to me, sets this product apart from the others.However, as other reviewers have pointed out, the original unit I purchased just quit on me after about a months-worth of use (just days before the expiration of Amazon's return policy). I was able to arrange a product exchange, but ended up having to drive 30 miles to a UPS shipping facility to return the original unit, which is EXTREMELY difficult with the schedule I keep. The replacement unit has worked fine for me so far (about 3 months going).While I would recommend this product to others (it's really THAT good compared to similar products), I strongly suggest you use the heck out of it over the first 30 days in order to give it a chance to fail before the return policy expires.

I got mine last year and it’s the best !!!! I read so many reviews and this was ‘top rated’ I agree!!! I’ve referred 5 other famIly members and they bought the same one. It’s so easy to clean, it cooks great food, even makes quick frozen foods like fries, tots, fish, chicken, egg rolls... etc. I love it. It looks great on the counter and takes up a small space, but looks sleek on my counter. I’ve hardly used my oven. I’m making healthier items to like egg avocado boats and all keto meats/vegetables. This is great. It’s taken me a year to get the accessory kit and now I’m doing even more yummy cooking. Buy this one for the value; you won’t be disappointed.

Nice works well

I did some preliminary research on air fryers and visited a few in the stores, primarily learning what I did not want. I settled on the GoWISE product after reading reviews and researching it online; it received a number of positive reviews. Once I received the air fryer, it was easy to use and I even cooked lamb chops in it the very evening I received the fryer! They were heavenly. I found the cleanup incredibly easy; just wiping the base and cleaning the basket (not submerging just wiping w/a sudsy cloth. The top instrument panel is somewhat tricky to manage, but I'll get it, you will too! Plus, I wouldn't use that as a deterrent. It was larger than what I originally envisioned and I made room for it on top of my stove, since I'll now be using that less! The only caveat...I wish I had purchased it sooner!Great Buy!
