Pop-up Plug Bathroom Basin Waste Chrome Plated

I chose this one as it clearly showed it had a BRASS adjusting screw not a plated steel one that was originally supplied with my wash-basin. Not surprisingly the latter corroded, was covered in gunge and attempts to alter it only succeeded in shearing it off.You need to do some adjustments to the operating rods to get them within the range where the plug screw can make a difference. Once that is done - no problems.

This is fine. However, it is slightly too large for the basin in the bathroom. However, I have kept it because I can keep it as a spare for the other basin I have in my laundry room.

Very high quality plug speedily delivery

I specifically bought this because the diagram in the advert shows the dimensions of the plug.What could go wrong?I get sent a plug of a different size 40mm.And after reading other reviews it's the wrong size.The plug looks great nothing wrong with it, when it's sitting on my table.but in my sink it's the wrong size.Not worth sending back as the bag was the wrong size.Did I mention that the plug is the wrong size

This item did not fit my basin. The plug measurement was correct but the internal measurements (that were not shown in the advertisement) were different. It would have cost as much to return the item as was paid to purchase it so I have gone elsewhere for the part. It seems that there is no such thing as a 'standard' plug!
