This worked extremely well! Our Rottweiler is very used to walking with the leash but she walks on the right side. I was worried she wouldn't adapt well to being on the left. To help her get used to the bike leash pulling her back and being on the left side, I attached her walking leash to lead her and held it in my hand while I rode. She took to it like a champ and it was the best time I've had exercising her in a long time! She saw another dog a couple times and started to pull away from the bike but I was able to easily adjust to the pull and she came right back where she was suppose to be. The center of gravity with this leash is much lower than others and doesn't effect the bike as much. I'm a fairly experienced bike rider and our dog is very used to walking with a leash. I would say both of these things were key to our success using this product. If both of these are true for you I would definitely recommend this bike leash. The affordability ($26 at time of review), the durability, and ease of use make this 5 stars for me.

I got this to hook my service dog onto my wheelchair and it is the perfect length for it. The flexibility allows him to move position comfortably and doesn’t jostle me while we are rolling/walking. It’s super sturdy, too.

Great! Works great with the dog. It’s a little close to the wheel for my taste I think it could use another 2 inches but other than that they seem to be having a good time

I love this sooo much and so does my dog. I can get my dog tired faster in a shorter amount of time than just walking her for hours without end. We go at her pase as fast as she want to run or as slow as she wants to walk. It is a better quality than I espected by the pictures. Its very thick and well made. Very easy to install. Before i found this I tried everything like the free waist leach and tried to ride my bike but it just ended horribly she would try to switch sides from my left to my right and the leach would just get tangle on the back wheel she would slip out of her harness then and i would have to take the leach off my waist couse it be tanggled all over the back wheel of the bike and chase after her. With this she cant switch sides its just the right length. I needed to train her to know when im going to turn left or right and to get her used to being okay being that close to the byke after the many leach entangling accidents but she got used to it still a little hesitant when i get her hooked on to the bike but onces she start moving and sees she can go explore the neighborhood with me shes loves it.

I bought the product, set it up like they said on my bike, used the extender, hooked up my dog and before I could even role on my bike one time my dog tried to switch sides getting the leash caught in my rear fender and damaged my bike and spooked my dog thoroughly. This product is not the problem, my large dog wanted to change sides and that was that. The attachment should not be in the rear giving the dog the option to move. I think the attachment should be around the seat post. Not sure I would recommend this product because you need to train the dog before using this product to run next to a bike. My experience is not really product based, inasmuch as it is my K9 child based.

Expensive. Even with a harness or a collar my dog can get around the other side and get stuck on the tire. Set up like it’s supposed to be and my back foot snags on it when pedaling. Made me go down. Easier to just bike with the leash.

I have a 90 lb dog. I absolutely love this bike leash. I've tried several different ones, but they are so bulky and heavy. What I like about this one is that I can easily stow it away on my bike when I'm not using it. It is a bit short like some reviews said, but I find this great because I commute with my dog in town. I drop him off at daycare on my way to work, and this short leash keeps him safe in traffic. I did buy a bungee extension that I click on when we are on a trail, and he needs a bit more freedom, and that works pretty well.

This worked so well for my two dogs (both large dog of about 70-95lbs)! It's short enough so they stay near you but not in front of you, long enough that they aren't running into you or your bike though. Also, it has a little bungee so if they want to tug a little and stop to smell something, it doesn't make you lose your balance and tip you over. Honestly so glad I got this for me and my pups!

Someone wrote that this was for dogs already used to bikes, but I figured I’d give it a go with my 5 year old 60 lbs mutt who had never accompanied me on a bike before. I decided to purchase a bike and my dog comes with me everywhere so after researching a few different dog/bike attachments I decided to go with this one due to the stability. Before this arrived I took my dog for a couple of runs holding onto her leash and riding bike and she did great, so that was encouraging! Once I got the attachment she was a little apprehensive about being so close to the bike but once we got going she trotted along,no trouble! I’ve started with short runs, treating her often so she develops a positive association with it. Every trip so far has been positive and she gets excited and wags her tail when I get my bike ready! I highly recommend this product to beginners and experienced bike accompanying dogs!

Correa muy practica para pasear al perro con la bici. Debes anclarla cerca del eje trasero y no te enterarás de que llevas al perro. La bici es completamente estable. Además cuando llevas la bici sin el perro la correa se ata al portabidones y no molesta nada. Súper recomendable!!!

Llevamos utilizándolo tres semanas y estamos muy satisfechos, el perro corre a la distancia adecuada sin ningún contratiempo. Cuando tenemos que frenar no se lastima ni hay jalones. El poder ajustarlo a la bicicleta a una altura tan baja, me permite maniobrar sin perder el centro de gravedad.

I bought one to begin with I found it to short and uncomfortable for the dog. So I ordered another. I clipped it on to the first one that attaches to the bike . works much better now . My heal did hit the bungee a few times. But that’s okay I would rather the dog be comfortable while we are biking. So when you do place a order buy TWO!! Update: I found out that you only need one if you can tie it up high on the bike then the dog walks fine beside you.
