I wanted a hair bun to make my diminishing bun size to look fuller. I was happy to see it is a two pack. When I first looked at it, it seemed smaller than I had anticipated. Once you take it out of the netting and fluff it out, it does seem a little bigger. However, it was still a little too small for me, but it does look like real hair. It is very easy to put on. Even though I selected the straight bun, this does have more texture to match my wavy, thick hair. I wish the elastic was smaller so I didn’t have to wrap it around my hair twice, which made the entire bun look smaller. I wore it all day and it was very comfortable, but if you have thick hair, this is not the product for you because of the sizing. It is better suited for someone with thinner hair.

These are great. I didn't realize that it was a 2-pack when I ordered, but I'm especially happy about that because it means I can either double up for a thicker messy bun, or I can do two space buns. :D The hair wrapped around the elastic is relatively thick. It lies flat, so it doesn't look crazy fluffy, but it's definitely thick enough that when I tried to part it to see what the elastic band looked like, it was really difficult to get through it to see. I think it's a good thickness to be wrapped around outside of a bun and to look like a healthy amount of hair, rather than cartoonishly fake. If your hair is on the thicker side, you could just use one. If you feel like your hair is still too thin, you could always pop a second one on over it to get double the thickness. The band inside is clear and looks like it might be silicone. It's very stretchy and seems sturdy. The hair is SO soft. I wish my natural hair were that soft. And the way the hair lays seems to be very natural looking. The hairs are long enough to wrap around in a spiral around the elastic, like long hair in a bun naturally would. I got a different brand in the past that ended up looking very fake because the hairs were a bunch of shorter strands that only partially wrapped around, so too many pieces stuck out. I know it's supposed to be a messy look, but there were so many strands sticking out that it was obvious that it was a hair piece. This bun doesn't look fake at all.

I ordered off-black since this color has a brown undertone. However, these off-black buns are jet-black and don't have any brown undertone. I just realized now, but when I choose the color off-black, the listing title contains Ject Black (Jet Black). I do not know why the seller combined off-black and jet-black as the same color. I like the size and the real human hair quality, but I cannot use them since these are jet-black-colored buns.

The messy bun hairpiece is soft and gives a nice full look to my bun. It was easy to put on and instantly made my hairstyle look more polished. The color didn’t perfectly match my hair, but I still liked how it looked overall—just make sure to choose the closest shade for a better blend.

I have tried a few messy buns, but they always look fake and end up the same size or smaller than my real hair. This set of two is different. First of all, the hair looks and feels like soft and real hair. The color is rich and vibrant. It contains plenty of hair that I was able to easily plump up to a much larger size. I included a picture showing one I had plumped up a little bit. There was still plenty of room to plump it up even larger. I am also impressed with the price point for two really excellent hair scrunchies. I can use them together or do two ponytails on my head. I love that.
