Need to size larger to next size.running small...

My son, who sometimes works as a butcher, loved these coveralls. He was not allowed to work with long sleeves so I had to cut off and hem them. He's a large man who had trouble keeping regular pants from slipping down when he was bending and lifting. These eliminate that problem altogether. There is a top zipper and a bottom zipper that you zip up to open for toileting needs. Works great. They are made of pliable yet sturdy cotton and were moderately priced. A very good buy, I would say. We did buy one size up as others recommended and if I were to do it again I would go two sizes up especially if there are big shoulders involved.

for the price, it's a good deal. stitching is good. the crotch is a little high but not horrible. so if you're a taller than me, order up a size. (5'11 guy, ordered a M)

I measured myself with a tailor's tape prior to placing my order, to assure I'd order the right size. In fact, according to the sizing guidelines, I should have had room to spare. The garment looks nice... I would love to have kept it.. but I literally can't even get it on. First the distance between crotch and shoulder is way too short. Second, the distance between shoulder-to-shoulder is too small. Overall this thing was so tight I could not get it on all the way, let alone zipper it. I'm happy that a return is an option, because at 40 bucks this isn't cheap. On the other hand, my time time isn't exactly free, either. I also see here that I have to provide my own box to ship this back, and then I get to stand in line at the UPS store instead of doing the work I'm supposed to be doing... which was the whole point of purchasing the coveralls. If by some stretch of luck you order a size that fits... you might like these. I thought I would. ====== Update: ======= Despite the obvious fault in sizing, I was under [false] impression this might still be a decent garment. I returned the 2x I'd acquired previously, and ordered a 4x. Based on the website information a 4x should fit me like a tent, but I figured it's work clothes not a fashion statement, so who cares if it's baggy? Well, the 4x shows up. This time arm and leg length were OK and I could at least get the thing on (though I swear the torso in this garment was proportioned for a square-shaped gorilla torso instead of a wedge shaped human... but whatever. I put in on and went to work. Two hours of light yard work later and ...rip. The whole bottom opened up. I have no idea why. If I could award this product negative stars, I would. It's absolute garbage. You have been warned.
