desertcart.com: Novokind Rosemary Hair Growth Oil - Scalp Treatment for Thinning Hair, Improves Hair Density, Reduces Breakage & Deep Nourishment | Blended with Castor Oil, Biotin, Turmeric for Men & Women 3.38 fl oz : Beauty & Personal Care Review: Lightweight, Nourishing, and Actually Easy to Use - I’ve tried several hair oils over the years, and many of them either feel too heavy, overly greasy, or difficult to wash out. The Novokind SuperGrowth Hair & Scalp Oil (3.38 fl oz) has been a refreshing change — it strikes a great balance between nourishment and wearability. 🌿 Thoughtful Ingredient Blend What first caught my attention was the combination of ingredients: Rosemary oil – widely used to support scalp circulation and healthy hair growth Castor oil – known for thicker texture and hair-strengthening support Squalane – lightweight hydration without clogging pores Turmeric – helps support a balanced, healthy-looking scalp Instead of relying solely on heavy castor oil, the addition of squalane makes a noticeable difference in texture. It absorbs better and doesn’t leave that sticky residue many growth oils have. 💧 Lightweight & Non-Greasy This is where the product really shines. Despite containing castor oil, it feels surprisingly light. I can: ✔ Apply it overnight without my pillow feeling drenched ✔ Use a small amount as a leave-in scalp treatment ✔ Massage it in without that thick, suffocating feeling It gives a healthy sheen without making my hair look oily or weighed down. 💆♀️ Scalp Comfort & Density Support After several weeks of consistent use (2–3 times per week), I noticed: My scalp feels more hydrated and less dry Reduced itchiness Hair appears fuller at the roots Less breakage when brushing While no oil produces overnight miracles, this one feels supportive and strengthening over time — especially around thinning areas. 👩🦱 Suitable for Men & Women It’s versatile enough for different hair types and both men and women. A little goes a long way, so the 3.38 fl oz bottle should last quite a while, even with regular use. ⚠️ Tips for Best Results Use consistently for at least 6–8 weeks. Massage into the scalp for a few minutes to stimulate circulation. If you have fine hair, start with a smaller amount. ⭐ Final Verdict The Novokind SuperGrowth Hair & Scalp Oil delivers a well-balanced formula that nourishes the scalp without the heavy, greasy feel many hair oils have. With rosemary, castor oil, squalane, and turmeric working together, it provides thoughtful support for thinning hair and overall density. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A lightweight, effective addition to any hair growth routine. Highly recommended for anyone looking for scalp support without the grease. Review: A blend of many oils, with rosemary as its highlight - This Novokind hair oil is designed to be either massaged into your scalp, then drawn through your hair, or applied to hair ends to promote healthy growth. Two or three times a week you apply it, leave it in overnight (or at least 30 minutes if you're in a hurry), then wash it out. I haven't yet used it long enough to know whether it keeps its "super-growth" promise. But I can say that, so far, I've enjoyed using it very much. Made in India, it is a blend of many, many oils (coconut, rosemary, jojoba, castor, olive, sesame seed, and more) prepared according to Ayurvedic principles. Even if Ayurvedic medicine seems a bit "woo woo" to you (as it does to me), the combo is pleasant to apply and feels delightful. Although it contains a considerable blend of oils, the aroma when you open the bottle or pump the liquid into your hand is pure rosemary. I love the scent of rosemary, but if you're not so fond of it, don't worry; the scent dissipates quickly after you've applied it. But how much to apply? There's no information about that. So on my first try, I cupped my hand under the spout, filled my entire palm with the clear oil, and went way overboard. I realized quickly I'd overdone it and was worried my well-oiled hair would stain my pillow. For the first hour of the night I kept a hand towel between my hair and the pillowcase, but I eventually removed the barrier -- and by morning there was absolutely no staining. YAY. On later applications, I've used maybe three pumps of the liquid and found that I could leave the oil in my hair till my next shampoo, looking shiny and sleek but not greasy. (FYI, Novokind has a related super-growth serum that is intended for this kind of daily leave-in use, which I've also ordered.) So why only four stars? Well, partly because I haven't used it long enough to know its full capabilities. But also because they made the bottle half-impossible to get into. The top of the bottle was closed with a tight plastic cup that you might think you can just pry off or manually coax out. But no. My husband had to insert needle-nosed pliers into that cup, grab the raised nub inside (see pix), and tug it out with some effort. Kind of a pain. That said, though, Novokind is kind enough to include two functioning dispenser caps, one a pump and one for squeezing drops into your hand. So that made up for the initial PITA.

Solid ingredients with no irritation
I stopped colouring my hair a few months ago after nearly 20 year (bleach and funky colours in the front with black dye in the back). The root upkeep alone would take most of a day, but I also started noticing my hair looked thinner when I braided it from all the breakage that I smooth over with a serum so it's not a frizz-fest (legit everything from the ends of the virgin roots, which are healthy, down is just breakage throughout my entire mane). My hair is fine, but I have a lot of it, so it used to look thicker. Now that I’m devoted to growing out my virgin hair, I want it to be as healthy as possible while encouraging new growth. I’ve been using this for about 3 weeks, so it’s still too early to see real results. However, but a search on the ingredients shows that this formula is solid. I haven't had any issues with irritation so far to any of the ingredients, and I have sensitive skin. I pump some into my palms, work it into my roots while massaging it in, and then apply the rest through the ends. I also use a separate brush to gently distribute it and stimulate my scalp a bit more. I only wash my hair once or twice a week, so the recommended usage works well with my hair washing routine. It also has a light minty scent that I enjoy and I find it invigorating! I’m happy with this so far and look forward to monitoring how things progress as I grow my natural colour out over the next few years (my hair is currently mid-back length).

Nourishing oil that feels lighter than expected
This one surprised me in a good way. Even though it’s an oil, it doesn’t feel overly heavy or thick when you work it into your scalp and hair. It spreads easily and gives a nice, healthy sheen without that weighed-down feeling some oils can have. The ingredient blend is pretty packed, with things like rosemary, castor oil, biotin, and other plant oils. It feels like a more “complete” scalp treatment rather than just a basic oil, and it’s easy to massage in without it feeling sticky or suffocating. I like that it can be used a couple different ways depending on what you need—either as a short treatment before washing or left on longer as an overnight option. It doesn’t feel messy to use, and a little goes a long way. Too early to say anything about long-term results, but so far it feels like a solid, low-effort addition if you’re trying to give your scalp and hair a little extra support.

Scalp Oil
I am a curly girl with 3A hair. My hair does grow very quickly, but it has changed as I have gotten older. I got this scalp oil in hopes I could get my hair to start growing in thicker again. I applied this scalp oil a few times, and I really did not like how it felt or smelled. I initially applied it before styling my hair, and I feel like it caused my hair to lose some of its bounce. Then I tried it on a day I was staying at home with my hair up (no styling or products), and all I could smell was the oil. Every time I moved, I smelled Rosemary. While that is not necessarily a bad thing, I really hate smelling anything about myself. I feel like if I can smell me, everyone can smell me, and it brings me too much anxiety. This scalp oil may be the best one on the market, but I could not get past the way it felt on my head and the way I could smell it all the time.

All completely natural ingredients-- love that!
Years ago I had a good friend with very thick, very curly hair, and she was always applying rosemary oil to it to keep it conditioned and beautiful and moisturized, and I remember it really helped her manage her curls. So I've known for a long time that rosemary oil is very good for hair. I really love that this conditioning treatment has only natural ingredients, nothing synthetic. I generally don't care at all for any synthetic fragrances, but most natural ones agree with me, so I find the strong Rosemary scent of this oil refreshing and pleasant, but it is strong, so if you don't like the fragrance of Rosemary, then this treatment is not for you. Also a little warning, that comes from my many years as a professional massage therapist when I was younger -- if you're going to do the overnight leave-in treatment, be sure to put some kind of old towel between you and your pillow case, one that you won't mind eventually throwing out. I say this because almond oil doesn't ever seem to completely wash out of fabrics, and after a few months they start to smell rancid. I think almost every massage therapist has learned this over time and had to learn the hard way by having to throw away some massage sheets. Coconut oil seems to be much better in that respect. But this treatment contains both, so I thought I should mention. This is a lovely ayurvedic combination of wonderful natural, healthful, and moisturizing ingredients, and for a reasonable price. I think anyone could use it, but it might be a little better suited to folks with dryer or curlier, thicker hair, especially if you want to use it as a leave-in treatment. That is simply not an option for me, because mine is very fine, straight, and limp, and it doesn't take much at all for it to look oily and stringy. I have to be careful to really wash it out. But I would recommend this hair oil, I really feel it has a great list of ingredients, chosen and blended in the ayurvedic tradition.

Lightweight Formula That Delivers Visible Hair Improvement
I've been using NOVOKIND Scalp Oil for six weeks, and the results have been remarkable. The rosemary-based formula blended with castor oil, biotin, and turmeric nourishes my scalp without any greasy residue, which is a huge plus. The lightweight texture absorbs quickly into my scalp and hair. I apply it 2-3 times weekly as a pre-wash treatment, and within three weeks, I noticed significantly less hair breakage and shedding. My hair feels thicker, stronger, and looks noticeably healthier. The rosemary scent is pleasant and herbal without being overpowering. The formula is chemical-free, cruelty-free, and suitable for all hair types including my fine, color-treated hair. At 3.38 fl oz, the bottle lasts about 2 months with regular use, offering excellent value. The ayurvedic-clinical blend with biotin and RootBioTec technology delivers genuine scalp nourishment. My scalp feels balanced, and I've seen visible improvement in hair density. Highly recommend for natural hair growth support!

lightweight and not greasy
I recently tried the Novokind Scalp Oil for Hair Growth, and I really like how lightweight it feels compared to many other hair oils. Some scalp oils can feel heavy or leave hair looking greasy, but this one absorbs nicely and doesn’t weigh my hair down. The formula includes rosemary oil, which is often used in hair care to help support scalp health and encourage stronger hair growth over time. I’ve been using a small amount and gently massaging it into my scalp, and it feels very soothing. It also adds a bit of softness and shine to my hair without making it look oily. What I appreciate most is how easy it is to use. A few drops go a long way, and the oil spreads easily through the scalp. It’s nice for days when my scalp feels a little dry or when I want to give my hair some extra care. Overall, this scalp oil feels like a simple but nourishing addition to a hair care routine. If you’re looking for something lightweight that helps support scalp health and doesn’t leave your hair feeling greasy, this is a nice option to try.
