Despite the higher amount of collagen (5000mg), the recommended dose for these is just one a day instead of the usual three at a time - that's far easier to manage. The tablets themselves slip down fine, and have no noticeable taste. Good to know the product is made in the UK, but no mention of GMP standards, which I usually look for in collagen supplements. £6.99 at the time of writing for a month's supply seems very reasonable, especially compared to the much higher prices you'll see out there for collagen. The package ingredients include magnesium citrate, but doesn't say how much.

The reason I have given this product 2 stars is due to the misleading packaging. On the front it states that it is derived from FISH. On the back it states that it is suitable for vegetarians and vegans unless otherwise stated - it doesn’t state it anywhere ( though I appreciate that for most of us it is obvious due to the Worx d fish . The instructions say to take 1 to 2 tablets daily which means if you take the full dose the packet only lasts you two weeks ! The capsules are easy to swallow - so if you are okay with all of the above comments you Amy want to give them a try . No idea how effective they are at the current time and not sure I’ll know by the time I have finished the packet !

These are quite large (for me) and mine came very dusty on the outside. There's no taste or odour but the size is not really something I can get along with. I know it's horse for courses but I already take in inordinate amount of medication every day and these capsules are bigger than all the other pills I have to swallow. Not noticed any real difference in taking these but then I suppose it's your insides that benefit first with these sorts of supplements. I'll finish the pouch but I won't be purchasing more. They are hard for me to swallow comfortably and that's a significant thing for me. They do contain decent amounts of the labelled ingredients and whilst I'm a bit confused by the photo in the listing that shows oats, coffee and smoothies, I guess you could open the capsules and mix them in? I don't really know why those images are there, but hey ho. It says a month's supply but the recommended dosing can be as much as two capsules per day, so that's only 15 days' worth of supplements if you do decide to double up.
