This tweeter is also used in the Schroeder 1212 Light bass guitar cabinet. I was building another bass cabinet and decided to use this tweeter. The included crossover capacitor might be OK for car audio but not for bass guitar. I am using a 12dB per octave high-pass filter to afford much greater protection. It is heavy-duty and very efficient and very well suited for use with bass guitar. Another feature is that the diaphragm is user-replaceable for about half the cost of the entire unit.

Love these they are really loud, but they are huge! they say 1.5 i was thinking it was going to b really small it its almost the size of a 6.5 speaker i bought this and i also had to go buy a dremel tool just to make it fit inside my car its insane how big this is but once u have it in u will not be disappointed i'm giving it a 4 star just because the crossover looks amazing in this picture and its really really flimsy i had to glue it to the top its just this little black thing and i thought i was going to break it just moving it around but other then it being really big and the crossover it is a really good tweeter

Works as it should, bought it as a replacement for a broken one that was in my bass cabinet speaker, took all of 5 minutes to install and it sounds great!

This is a very bad product. It has failed after just a few weeks of use. The max wattage on my appliance is 250 w, and the raring of this speaker is either incorrect or the speaker itself is very poor quality.

They are mid size tweeters. A little bigger than most but let me say not bigger sound. I had seen videos about them and the video sold me. Until i got them, they are average in sound and come with a 2.2 uf capacitor. They need a 3.3 to a 4.7 to wake them up. Then they produce good sound. What they do though is handle wattage. So if you need tweeters that take wattage? These are the application you need. Ok price. Wish the tw67 (beast) was cheaper. I would have gone with those.

These tweeters are great! however if you were wondering it does not come as a pair. When you order this you will receive only one. Some other tweeters can be bought in pairs these however cannot be. Besides that wonderful surprise in my box these tweeters have been great. Can't wait to hear them once they have been broken in.

Huge magnet size for the money The physical down side is that you have to cut out the hole just enough to drop the magnet through because the mounting screws are about 1/4" next to the hole. Plus you have to cut out extra notches for the terminals to get through. You don't want to bend the terminals down to sharp. As seen in the picture, there is a chrome plated ring right below the terminals that you don't want the terminals shorted to this ring! You might want to solder the cap/wire to the terminals instead of using the plugs so it could be easy to drop in the cabinet. Cap in the picture is not what you get from the package! The type of cap in the picture is better with voltage rating is up to few hundreds while the supplied cap only rated 100V It's loud enough that you don't want to use any cap that bigger than the supplied cap: 2.2uF to eliminate the mid range freq 4 to 8 ohm impedance!? The actual resistance of the coil is about 6 to 6.5 ohms, plus the 2.2uF cap to the positive terminal, I would use it at an 8 ohm impedance setting It's easy to handle 150W RMS output amp with nice sound of the hi-hat cymbals! It's not a horn type, but use small cap, pay less, it still produces nice sound and can handle the power, a big bang for the buck!
