Why bother?
G82 is more accurate than R10 only for ball speed and launch angle (and putting). Designed for on course use with GPS but weak for swing and shot shape analysis. My S70 watch does 90% of G82 functions. My S70 also tracks carry distance. $599 might have been cool when the G80 first came out. But it's a why bother today. Better to buy a $495 R10 and spend $100 on HTH for a year. Garmin just turned HTH from a “cute bonus mode” into a real simulator: near R50‑grade experience, more accurate flight modeling, cleaner and faster UI, and practice from any spot on any hole. No support for G82.
