The art work provides a broader context to the passover stories. Very kin on details.Just one thought though: one image emphasize our nation's sufferings during the Pharaoh times in a quite graphic manner - a young Egyptian whipping a bleeding elderly? Not an imagine I would like my children to dwell on. I have my doubts that men his age were required to do hard labor in the first place, they would be more likely to be "sent off"...This is just one page though, I love the rest.

This is an oustanding Haggadah, with beautiful illustrations and lots of additional curiosities and trivia. I recommend it for your next Pessach!

Perfect as a visual guide

A fluent translation by Baruch Chait and fabulous illustrations by Gadi Pollock make this a masterpiece. The sensational artwork includes allusions to midrashim (rabbinical stories that explain the events of the Torah's text). These are explained in the book's pages in a clear way. One word of caution: the illustrations are so evocative, they may be too frightening for your youngest seder guests. If you can afford to buy multiple copies, use this haggadah for your seder; if you can't afford enough for your family and guests, get at least one. People will spend time passing it around to ooh and ahh during breaks in the action.

The best kids haggadah ever! I love it too. Great midrashic explanations at the end of the book to describe the illustrations.

One of our favourites. Amazing detail- so much so not all pages are probably suitable for young or sensitive kids. We love this Haggadah so much and it remains on the bookcase all year around. My pictures don’t do it justice.

The book was too simple for my needs, but is probably a nice product for a child.My problem, which has caused the 2 star rating is that although i returned the product, i have not received a refund even though i provided Amazon with proof of postage.
