MINIX 2.4GHz Wireless Windows Remote, Backlit Air Remote Control-NEO W2, Sold Directly Technology Limited.

In addition to this Neo W2 remote I now have several MINIX products & I'm VERY HAPPY with them all indeed. MINIX's products are renowned for being exceptionally well engineered & they're incredibly hard to beat for their quality, reliability & their after sales support, (either via their website or their user forums). I have no complaints at all about my new Neo W2 or any of their other products for that matter. (They are just a little pricier than some competitors but they're unequivocally worth every single penny.) As such, a Neo W2 was the perfect addition to my Neo N42C-4 system for those times when a full sized keyboard just isn't required. As intended it also works brilliantly with many multimedia apps such as Kodi, VLC, etc., etc.. (I will be purchasing more Neo W2's for 2 of my other Minix Mini-PC's.)The Neo W2 is identical in size & shape to the popular Android based Neo A2 Lite/A3 air mouse/remotes. If so desired, you can actually use these W2 remotes alone as they're fully featured & capable of doing everything a full sized keyboard can do. (If you're frequently compiling long emails or documents etc., ultimately a standard keyboard would be better. Otherwise the W2 is ideal for general use by itself or to compliment an existing keyboard.)Setup was very quick & easy. The first time the RF dongle is connected Windows automatically detects the device & a quick restart is required, then you're up & running instantly. It is quite literally plug & play.)The backlighting is excellent. To save battery when in use it doesn't just light up both sides simultaneously, it cleverly switches the backlight automatically based upon its orientation in use. The buttons are clear & bright especially in a darkened room. The "function" & "caps lock" buttons also have clear red LED's for ease of use that remain lit as long as they're activated, (even when the main backlight shuts off). The buttons all feel firm with a nice tactile click. The shape & layout of their remote's ranks up amongst the best I've ever tried & the layouts have been very thoughtfully considered. Despite the fact that they're double sided too, they're still very comfortable to hold & they feel great in your hands. They're also surprisingly light! They only require 2 x AAA batteries & battery life is very good thanks to the W2's power saving features, however, I'd still suggest using rechargeables, (they'll quickly pay for themselves). On the "air mouse" side, the most frequently used buttons are right under your thumb including the useful hot keys. The pointer is very precise with no lag from inputs/movements at all. The keyboard side is a fully featured standard QWERTY layout that's very simple to use, & all buttons except enter are dual purpose. They have an excellent finish all round, they really do look good, & to date none of my MINIX remotes are showing any signs of wear & tear from repeated use.Supplied in official MINIX cardboard retail packaging with an included quick start guide. (The guide is quite small with a small typeface, however, it's very easy to find the guide online for easier viewing if required). Would I purchase another if I lost or broke my Neo W2, or if it failed out of warranty? YES, without hesitation!! All in all, an excellent product that will work with ANY Windows 10 system & even some Win 8/Win 7 systems. I would happily recommend the MINIX Neo W2 & rate it at 5/5.

Seems pretty good small alternative to full keyboard . The wireless mouse takes a bit of getting used to but I think it’s just practice.
