Beautiful colors and great quality mat.

Buyer beware. This is a terrible quality mat. Mine came lumpy but what I’m most upset about is that this mat is misrepresented in the listing. The edges are NOT seamed as shown in the pictures. They are raw. And the mat itself is quite thin. Since I can’t return it, I am giving it to my husband to use in his garage to store car batteries.

This blue Chinoiserie mahjong mat is a lovely addition to my collection, with its vibrant floral and Great Wall design adding an elegant touch to gameplay. The mat reduces noise, making gameplay quieter and more enjoyable. I appreciate the included rules, which are great for beginners. The edges aren’t stitched, but the price reflects this, making it a good value for such a versatile mat. It works well for mahjong, poker, dominoes, and other games, fitting nicely into my varied game days. The fresh, eye-catching design complements my setup, and while the unstitched edges are a minor disadvantage, the mat’s functionality and charm make it a favorite for my table. A bit of disappointment, this ripples on the edges so I have to weigh it down prior to play.

The mat is perfectly usable and works well for hosting games to play on. The mat’s surface is soft and a little fuzzy, it's not waterproof, but comfortable to play on. The rubber layer grips well and doesn’t slip, it also provides good protection for mahjong tiles. Unfortunately, the print quality does not match that of the pictures. It looks like someone took the mat’s decal and raised the contrast through the roof or fried it with AI upscaling. The mat looks blurry, with a halo effect along the edges of the branches and flowers that make my eyes hurt, with darker parts of the print being far too dark and harsh. In my opinion, the mat is not very pleasant to look at. The carrying bag does the job well but is already showing signs of damage, will probably need to find a replacement soon. All in all, compared to my collection of mahjong mat, the price ($22) is fair as it’s still big and still usable.

Color on mat is not at all sharp. Overall, mat is ok but I’d have to think about purchasing again.
