So far works great.
So far using it only several days it has done everything it states. The bags that come with it work excellent and the machine automatically shuts off. As stated, it does work with other bags (I have Foodsaver bags) but it does shut off automatically but still vacuums well. Well worth the money and I am sure its comparable with the well known advertised one but much cheaper

Great handheld food vacuum
I have been using a vacuum sealer for year, although it has primarily been the countertop models. I would buy in bulk and store things in the freezer for later. While I will continue to use my countertop vacuum sealer, I ordered this because it made a couple of things easier. #1. This uses re-sealable bags. I don't have to rely on heat to seal the bags and I can reseal the bags multiple times. I can pull a single pork chop out of the back and reseal and vacuum it. #2. I can seal smaller things that I wouldn't normally freeze like cheese or vegetables and keep the food fresh longer. The vacuum pressure it's as high as a countertop sealer, but that could be good depending on what you are sealing. Some things don't handle well under pressure. I like that these come with a couple of different bag sizes. the moisture cups makes it easy to clean out when juices from meats get vacuumed up as well.

Works better than expected
So far, I've only used this to seal up my bricks of cheese and it does so wonderfully! Very easy to use and i especially like the moisture trap at the suction point when connected to the supplied bags. I highly recommend this vacuum as the unit is rechargeable and holds it's charge a long time. I hadn't used it for several months after sealing up my cheeses, since I was out of town, but when i came back, it was still at 100% charge!
