I am very pleased with this insect screen curtain. I hadn't been able to find anything big enough for a double outward-opening conservatory door, either on line or in local shops, until I came across it buried several pages deep in an search on Amazon.It seemed quite expensive compared with the nearest (but unsuitable) equivalents, and I was a little worried that it was to be supplied from overseas (Italy). But it arrived in three days, in perfect condition, with what seemed to be an honest commitment to after-sales service by the supplier. I have had no problems with the screen in over 18 months since purchase.The screen consists of quite thick vinyl strands suspended from an aluminium frame. The frame itself has to be hung using four freely-sliding eyes similar to those used in vertical blinds. Four hooks (not supplied) have to be fixed to the substrate above the door opening, and the screen is simply lifted up and dropped onto the hooks.The screen as delivered is quite weighty (maybe 4-5 kg), so the hooks need to be big enough to cope with that. The screen can easily be cut to required width (pull one end-cap off the frame and cut square across with a hacksaw), and the length of the strands trimmed to required length with a decent pair of scissors.\When new the strands give off the normal new vinyl smell but this dissipates quite quickly. They will also stretch a little but it is an easy matter to trim a little more off the bottom. The strands are heavy enough to withstand breezes up to the point where you will probably think about closing outer doors anyway.

Bought for caravan door so needed to be cut to size but very easy to do . Works well will get another for conservatory.
