Good, inexpensive headset
I specifically bought these because they were inexpensive and yellow to match my John Deere. Who says men aren't fashionable!!They fit well, although I tend to wear them on the back of my head so I can wear my disgustingly filthy cowboy hat. They were easy to adjust and knock down the sound of the tractor enough my ears don't ring when I'm done for the day, but I can still hear things going on around me. So far, they have held up well for their first sweaty summer.

im in love
bought these as sensory earmuffs to help with my sensory overload & omg, im sooo glad i did! i could actually cry. ive tried noise canceling headphones which didnt really help since usually they worked better with sound (which is the thing i want to avoid) + the ones ive tried havent been very comfortable & unfortunately expensive. these however truly do the job! + i can use earbuds along with them if i wanted! i was worried about them being heavy but honestly they look a lot heavier than they actually are the weight isnt even that noticable, i think the most noticable thing is the pressure around your ears but that makes sense since they're meant to fit snug to block noise better so im not complaining but it may be an issue for people who deal with ear problems/pain/infections. i was worried they didnt adjust at first but they do it just takes a bit more effort to adjust than over the ear headphones but not in a bad way, just different. honestly the only complaint i really have is i wish these came in other colors! i know these aren't listed as sensory earmuffs but in general sensory earmuffs are usually marketed towards children only & definitely the only cute ones are for kids, which is nice! im glad thats a thing! but like there are a lot of adults with sensory issues too! having more color choices would just be the cherry on top. i also dont wear these all the time because too much avoidance of sound can make the overload worse when i am exposed to it but they're very very nice for when i need a break for a few minutes or hours, i have tinnitus so its never truly silent for me but using these have still saved me from sensory meltdowns multiple times! im genuinely grateful for that & the fact that they're actually affordable please never change that! more people should be able to experience them. overall these are amazing, they're affordable, lightweight, comfortable, & definitely help reduce background noise! thank you :+)

They work, for me and my 3-year old son
My son (3 years) and I went to the Monster Jam this weekend. You know, those obnoxiously loud Monster Trucks that jump over cars. We each wore a pair of the Optime 98 earmuffs at this eventö here is the pros and cons:Pro:- Fits perfectly on my son's head, and is comfortable enough for him not to try getting rid of them every thirty seconds (we removed the earmuffs during breaks in the program, though)- Fits perfectly on my (adult sized) head; very comfortable to wear, only my ears got a bit sweaty after a while- Dampens the noise level to a very comfortable level- Let's human (Daddy's ...) voice through from 1-2 ft distance (... son, don't climb there ...)- Sturdy construction; my son's fell on the concrete floor several times - not a scratch- Easy adjustment to ones head diameter- LightweightCons:None that I could think of ... well, the sticker on the side says "3M" instead of "Peltor" ... like I would care ...So, for me and my 3 year old son, these earmuffs worked perfectly for an indoor event with extremely loud music, engine noise and crowd.

Simple and effective, maybe a little tight.
I play in a band and have a twenty month old son. In order for him to be able to come into our practice area while the band is doing its thing, it's important that he have ear protection. On a recommendation I tried this model. They're perfect. They fit his head perfectly, and surprisingly, even I can get them on, albeit uncomfortably. The most important thing is they are comfortable enough the little one will wear them. This is a kid who hates hats, and will immediately take any and all hats off. I was a little worried the same thing would happen here because they are kind of tight, but he actually enjoys wearing them - I know because sometimes he'll just walk up to me holding them even when nothing loud is going on - he just wants to put them on and tap the sides while wearing them. One last thing - they definitely do what they're supposed to. As I said I tried them on once and even though it was a bit of a squeeze, I could definitely get them on enough to verify that the noise reduction is pretty good.So yeah. Toddler seal of approval.

My husband's head is extra wide.
It's always hard for my husband to find a cap or anything to fit his head properly, so I was concerned when I ordered these that they wouldn't fit his head very well. The evening that they arrived I took them to him. He put them on, and not only did they fit his head, they also covered his ears without pinching them, or crowding them. He hasn't used them with the mower yet, but so far so good! Hopefully they will do a good job of protecting his ears from the noise. If they don't, I will have to change my review... But, I am optimistic since they seal well and they're comfortable.

High quality
I bought these for my kid who’s has autism. We’ve gone through a few pairs of noise canceling headphones, and after the last pair fell apart, I decided to give these made in the USA ones a try. They almost work too well, he sometimes can’t hear what people are saying to him when they’re right next to him. That was not the case with his past headphones. These are light weight too, which is also a change from the previous ones, so they are more comfortable. He loved the yellow color, too. I would highly recommend these for anyone who has auditory sensitivity or who needs ear protection for occupational hazards.
