Essential for post abdominal surgery of any kind
I ordered various compression garments for hernia repair and abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) surgery. I ordered different sizes and different types and this was one of my favorites. I ordered these in black and in nude colors, and in XL, L, and M. The M size was the best fit for me. I didn't measure myself post surgery or after surgery, but I'm 5'1" and 130lbs. I did not like the other sizes because they didn't provide that really snug feeling you want to have after a surgery like that. The L and XL were much easier to get into, but they wouldn't have provided the support I needed, loose fitting is not the point of a compression garment. These ones have a few hooks that go about to my belly button and then they have a zipper and the crotch was also hooked flap, much like unhooking a bra, that made using the bathroom much easier, and the reason that I didn't end up using any of the other garments that were just a panty style that had to be pulled down- after a surgery that extensive, you are not going to want to pull anything down that you don't have to. They have boning going down the sides, which I would have liked to have gone down further, but that's really a small thing that doesn't make me want to search for another type of compression garment. My surgeon just casually mentioned that I might want to pick up some type of compression garment or abdominal binder for post surgery, but it wasn't a requirement and I think it should be. Abdominal surgery leaves you feeling very puffy and bloated, not to mention sore. The swelling and fluid retention before the drain was removed was very apparent, but after the drain was removed it was even more significant and very noticeable. When taking off the compression garments that were placed on directly after surgery by the surgery team, it feels like all of your insides are going to spill out, you will want to put on a compression garment as soon as possible. After the 72 hours of no showering was up, I had help taking a shower and while the water felt nice and I love the feeling of being clean, I couldn't wait to get it over with so I could put on my compression garments. It's been about 4 weeks since my surgery and I still am wearing them everyday, all day, sleeping included, except when I have to take a shower. My surgeon recommended that they be worn for about 3-6 months post surgery for the best results, but he also added that wearing them for 9-12 months after the surgery was a good idea as well. After going through extensive surgery like that, I have no wish to repeat it, so investing in compression garments and wearing them everyday for a year seems like a small price to pay. As far as garment care goes, I have only hand washed them in lukewarm water and rinsed them in cold water and laid them out flat to dry. I didn't want to test their durability by throwing them in a garment bag and into my wash machine on the hand wash cycle, maybe when I don't absolutely need to wear them I will try that out, but for now, it's worth taking the extra time to hand wash them. Although, don't mix the black and the nude colors when doing this, the dyes that come off of them are very noticeable in the wash water, so just wash the nude ones first and then the black ones. Overall, I really love these compression garments. I was happy with the fits and the colors. They provide so much support and are so comfortable that I don't mind having to wear them everyday. I loved them so much I purchased more so that I wouldn't have to hand wash them everyday. I would recommend these to anyone who is going to have surgery.

Perfect after tummy tuck garment for under clothes
So happy with this! I finally found a garment that works. I had tummy tuck surgery and liposuction on my back and I have been wearing the one piece garments the doctor gave me with straps. They can be bulky under clothes so I wanted an option to wear when I dress up. I am 3 weeks out and 5'3 and 155lbs. I got an XXL due to measurements. It fits great. I normally wear 8-10 in clothes. The material is soft and the garment stays up fine. Thankful to have found an item at a good price that helps me right now. May need a smaller size in the future as the swelling continues to go down. But right now, its good. Would recommend.

Has become my go to!
About a week after my tummy tuck, my doctor transitioned me from the Velcro waist compression to the full brief tummy trainer. Unfortunately, the one they gave me was super uncomfortable and very wide in the crotch area. I started searching for a better option that I can wear for long periods of time. I ordered a couple different ones to try. My first impression on this one wasn’t great, there were some areas that looked like it was sewn inside out with the clean seams on the inside and the bulky part on the outside. Pulling it on was a little hard with my incision still not being completely healed and one of the seams came apart after the first wear. So I was iffy but gave it a try anyway. The crotch area was a lot more narrow than my doctor’s one so that was a plus. The bottom back hits right below the butt so there’s no hard cut panty line. It fits more like a longer boy short (think 50’s bathing suit). I added pics in leggings to show that there’s no panty lines. It seemed to be working out until I finally stepped out the house for the first time and walked around. I wanted to cry in pain! There were some very sharp, hard edges where the hooks are that started cutting me when I walked. I could literally feel it slice into my skin with every step. I didn’t notice it before because I had only worn it around the house. As soon as I got home I got some nail clippers and cut off all the hard edges. That seem so the trick and it’s been nothing but comfort since then. I am now 4 weeks post-op and it’s my #1 go to. The other ones have become my back ups for when I have to launder this one.

Pretty good for price
VERY HARD to pull up and on especially after showering. Holds up well. Can tolerate wearing for several hours before it starts cutting into skin in bottom panty area and I have to adjust a lot. The rest of the garment remains comfortable. Does not roll down which is great!

Comfortable and secure
I am 4 weeks post DIEP Flap procedure. I just started using this product. I already love it more than the Merena girdle I got from the hospital. This product is tighter but better feeling.

Runs VERY SMALL in legs
VERY TIGHT around midsection. Told to order up a size because they run small…. Order up two or more. I also couldn’t clasp it underneath otherwise it would cut off circulation to my legs. I bought this because I had lipo and a tummy tuck. I ordered a large and assumed that would be fine. I was sadly mistaken. I typically wear a medium and it said to size up. I felt like i was in a magic show being cut in half unsuccessfully.

Runs bit large, but terrific
I am a 28X38 waist and hips 5'7" tall and 145 lbs. Hands down the best compression for a tummy tuck/Lipo of hips and flanks after the first 2 weeks. (wear what doc recommends until then) The zipper is out of the way of any incisions. The seams are almost invisible for comfort, no wires Yay! and the legs are wide. The crouch is comfortable with easy access to keep good hygiene. I ordered a large because I was just on the low end of the chart, and the reviews said to go larger. My advice is that if you are on the borderline go smaller if you are on the lower end, and bigger if you are on the higher end. This is made for the mid-range measurement. Returned for a Med. Overall, no marks on my skin when I take it off and very even compression and also has lower belly compression, so the incision is getting what it needs too. Just a side note: until I got this, I have had to wear foam for comfort because other brands were terribly uncomfortable and left marks which is not something you want after a tummy tuck or lipo. Finally feel free to enjoy the next several months in my garment while I heal and be able to wear normal clothes.

wear it 24/7
Update: 3 months post op and Im on my 9th garment. I started out with xxl (3 garments), then xl (3 garments) and now rotate between 2 large and 1 med. I would recommend to anyone needing compression garments. every body is different and yes it pushes excess fat up and pokes at times but thats gonna happen no matter what compression garment you get its just how compression works. Love this!! I needed a compression garment after my Tummy tuck/lipo and this is by far my favorite. I have bought and returned multiple others. This one is perfect, bought 3 and rotate them out while the others are being washed since I have to wear them 24/7. I'm 5 weeks post op and will wear them for a minimum of 3 months. They are uncomfortable at first, but I think that was more just getting use to having to wear something and the swelling. Now I cannot go without them. When I forget to wash and have to go without while they wash and dry it is so uncomfortable. I washed and hung dry the first time but now I dry in the dryer and they have held up just fine. I've been wearing them daily for 3 weeks, since my drain was removed and they still look brand new even having to wash them so often. Love that the crotch has hooks for easy bathroom use.

Not enough compression for me!
Product seems great and tick almost all the boxes: comfortable, seems durable, the band holds its shape when unworn and worn… but it doesn’t feel tight enough for me! I am 1 week + 2 days postpartum as of today, when I first tried the band. I am 56kg so I am on the “fit” side. I bought the medium as they don’t sell small… and I do like it for ALL reasons stated above. HOWEVER, It really does not give me enough compression. I don’t feel like my abdomen is being “tucked in” and I wish the medium would be either tighter with the option to make it less tight using adjustable hooks; OR that you would sell a SMALL size for women who are skinnier/fitter. I don’t have a lot of fat so my belly is shrinking quite fast, and I wanted something to give me a good deal of support and compression. I am trying to return the item but can’t find the option to do so. If your average size is medium, this may very well be ideal and amazing for you. HOWEVER, I advise anyone who wears small to be cautious when ordering it because it might not be tight enough.

Not right enough
I’m 5’7 150lbs post partum, previous weight 135, it doesn’t suck in tight enough, if I could go back, I would have bought the Velcro wrap. I got the medium, but small would have been too tight for my butt I think.
