QICAIPO Lid for Wide Mouth Sport Water Bottle, Fit Hydro Flask, Simple Modren Replacement Stainless Steel Flat Cap

I’m obsessed with the old style Hydroflask lid for my 40oz Hydroflask bottle. Unfortunately, it would break all the time and leak. And it was discontinued. But I can’t stand fully removing the lid; I need the piece that keeps it together.In any case, this lid is awesome. Way better version than HydroFlask.

Looks good with my stainless steel 48oz Hydro Flask. Plastic interior, but the stainless steel shell ought to stop it from breaking on impact like the lid it's replacing. Good fit with no leaks.The lid shares space with a JugLug handle on the neck. Like the JugLug, I had to submerge the plastic in boiling water for about a minute to get it to stretch over the neck. Not a big deal, and the final fit is very secure.The main flaw is that it can be very difficult to grip, especially compared to the stock lid. I like to be able to open and close it quickly and easily. I solved this problem by stretching the rubber grip band from the original lid around the new one. Works well this way. If I had to use it unmodified, though, it's bad enough that I'd probably look for a different lid.

It's utterly terrible. The plastic is thin and only lasted about three weeks. You can do better for the price

Fits seamlessly on an off-brand collegiate hydroflask that suffered from broken neck syndrome. Metal and plastic are excellent quality and look great, albeit perhaps a bit slippery.EDIT: A year later the plastic neck that secures the lid to the bottle when its open broke, same as my old hydroflask lid. I'll probably buy another of these but maybe something that doesnt attach would last a ton longer.
