Nice and cozy blanket.
I ordered a king for our queen bed for the extra width. It hangs almost to the floor on each side. It is a light weight down blanket, a bit lighter than my old one, but perfect for our cold winter weather. We use flannel sheets with it, and it keeps us very warm. The cover material is soft and feels nice on your skin.

Goldilocks lightweight blanket
Wasn’t expecting to love a blanket so much, lol, but it exceeded expectations. Wanted a light blanket to use on my bed now during the warmer months of Spring and Summer. Needed it to provide a little warmth (if AC on or cool night with windows open) but not too hot for warmer nights. With a thin jersey cotton coverlet as a top layer, this blanket fits the bill perfectly, can prob also be comfy on its own if it were to get really warm indoor. It’s very thin but has a perfect weight to it - light but body conforming - is soft and is very breathable (the fact that’s it’s down primarily and not feathers likely has something to do with this). It’s so comfortable! I’m not a fan of the satin trim but it’s not a dealbreaker. Overall, it’s a winner - great quality and fair price (may buy a couple more, one as back up and one for my daughter’s bed).

Perfect lightweight comforter or down blanket
Love this lightweight down blanket/ comforter. Nice feel and quality. Perfect for layering. Nice satin finish so could be top quilt.

Lightweight but warm
Lightweight, soft but warm. Very nice. Wanted a twin size so it’s a little big but I really like it.

Such a nice warm blanket in a small package!
I LOVE this light blanket! We are going through some changes in our house--my older (76) husband fell and shattered his hip in April 2016 and because he also has Parkinson's came home from rehab still in a wheelchair. We've installed a hospital bed in our bedroom, rehab continues, and he is beginning to take steps! But to the blanket--while ordering a ton of various products, equipment, supplies from Amazon I came across this down blanket. What sold me was the fact that the down was sealed in the individual squares, it looked lighter than the usual down comforter we put on the bed for cooler months (we live in Georgia), and they said it was machine washable!!! I swear we are clean people who shower daily, but my husband's side of the comforter would develop this grimy looking yellowish tinge--sending me to the commercial laundry mat with it every year. The blanket arrived quickly and I didn't use it immediately because it was July, but one night I just felt "cold" in our queen sized bed. My husband was sawing logs in his hospital bed not ten feet away, but I had not realized how you can miss the heat of another body beside you in bed--even if you are not snuggly sleepers. I Took this blanket out of its neat little package (it really folds up nice and flat--not much thicker than a single flat sheet) and put it on top of the bedspread. Ahhhhhh. I was amazed at how that light layer brought just the right amount of warmth and weight to my bed linens. I could feel my body relaxing. I slept warmly and comfortably. So far I've folded it up and put it away each morning after I've used it, but I'll probably install it as an under spread layer in the Fall. I really like that it provides warmth and comfort that I associate with a down comforter without the BULK. I haven't washed mine yet--I haven't used it enough. I'm trusting the other reviewers who say that it launders well. I can tell that it will fit into my home machine nicely. It is not as bulky as the thermal blankets we are using on my husband's hospital bed. I plan to buy other colors and put them on all of the beds upstairs for when the children come home. The price is pretty reasonable. I bought the gray for our room and the color is a nice silver/light gray. I'm pleased.

Empty/unfilled air pockets = Unwanted cold sleep
I bought from Puredown years ago and was really really really satisfied with their comforter (not blanket. I know). I did extensive research on the construction and ended up buying one of their regular down blanks and thought I'd receive the same quality for this new purchase. What I got for the same price range ($80-$90) in 2015/2016 is not what I got recently with this new order. My new blanket has no puff at all and is actually missing fill in a significant amount of the squares, leaving some noticeable cold spots during this winter season. If you look at the specs on the tag you can see why, as this one only contains a 12 oz fill weight for a king sized blanket. I KNOW that this is supposed to be a lightweight blanket but dang, the fill is really sparse. I thought I'd receive similar quality down since the old one I bought was in the same price range (back in 2015/2016~) Looking at puredown's store now, it looks like the price of what I ordered (Seems to be the all season comforter) has gone up by about $75. Had I known that this is what I got before, I would've just ordered it again EVEN WITH the markup because I love the product so much (what they offered before was an absolute deal). Anyway seems like I kinda went off on a tangent, but basically yes this blanket is lightweight. However, I think it's fair to say that it's lightweight due to the lack of fill / disproportionate fill. It does keep me warm, but not as warm and comfy as their all season model Check out the photos attached to see the difference in fill Previous Model Specs (probably the all season comforter model): -Finished size: Full/Queen -Fill: White Duck Down (Minimum 75% Down) -Fill Weight: 36oz -Cover: 100% Cotton Here's a review from the other model that also confirms the price back then -5.0 out of 5 stars Great down comforter -Reviewed in the United States on January 6, 2016 -Size: Light Warmth Full/QueenVerified Purchase I was a little hesitant when ordering this, as the price (80$) seemed around 50% too low for a cotton/down comforter. ... TOTALLY AGREED THO^

Too hot for being considered lightweight
Very warm“ lightweight” blanket. Sadly, I just missed my turn or exchange window and I would’ve returned it definitely do not recommend for warm sleepers. It is soft but after 10 minutes my legs start to feel like they’re on fire and I have to escape from the blanket. Has not helped my sleep quality and will not be using or buying again.

Love this blanket! Beautifully elegant with lovely satin edges. Soft light & cozy down quilt. Warm when you need it and cool you want to be. Worth every penny. I’m thinking about which colour to buy next. Highly recommend!

I bought this blanket because I had a light down blanket years ago and loved it. This blanket is just wonderful if you don’t want a heavy blanket or duvet. It’s perfect for spring, summer and fall when you want that extra warmth but not the bulkiness of a big blanket. The colour green is so lovely and is like a sage colour. I would highly recommend as a light and warm blanket under a quilt or end of the bed as a spare.

I bought the blue (which is really more a dusty aqua) and the color was perfect for me. The wide satin binding is a good match and a lovely touch. It is indeed a lighter weight blanket and it’s lightly filled with down not feathers (so you can’t see any feathers inside). It won’t be warm enough on a really cold winter night (I live in SK so that means -30C to -40C ); however, I tend to sleep cool and have used it when it was -25C outside and set at 17C inside and I was very comfortable. The outer fabric at 400 count cotton is very comfortable to sleep under. It does wrinkle some but it’s cotton and I didn’t find it a major issue. I took it out of the dryer right away and gave it a few good shakes and I thought it was fine. I think it did shrink a bit with the first drying but it wasn’t a problem for me because I’m using it on a double (54”) bed. Blanket seems to be well made and I’m happy with it. Maybe a bit high-priced but I needed the color and the satin edging all round was a selling feature because I’m using it as a top duvet/spread. Wish it had matching shams or pillowcases but I may attempt to find some matching satin fabric and make my own.
