Great hat for walking near roads and streets during dark winter mornings and nights. The lights on both the front and back provide light for moving forward and the back facing red light gives a warning to approaching vehicles that there is someone ahead of them. The hat being rechargeable means not having to mess around with batteries!!!

Keeps head warm, comfortable and not itchy. Stays on and doesn’t slip when running. The lights are bright and easy to function while wearing. I use mostly the red light (and have removed the white light) as both lights in at the same time for me is too bulky (I have a lot of hair also). The lights are bright and clear, and hold charge for quite sometime. I wore the hat almost all day today, even while driving my rideshare and forgot I had it on it was so comfy and breathes well. It stopped the wind whipping across the water due to the double layer. I’m really happy I bought this and would buy it again. Glad it came just before the cold blast came down!

Just got in from a walk around the yard & woods tonight wiearing this hat. It's a warm, very comfortable beanie hat with tight weave. It stays in place on your head. The two different lights, one bright LED white light that has 3 levels of brightness & a red LED that also has 3, the third one is a sharp, rapid emergency signaling type or simply when you're out jogging after dark. You can also remove one or both lights & wear the warm hat by itself without the lights. The versatility is certainly nice. Be aware this is by know means a 'flashlight' type light. It simply lights up a certain radius around you so you can see where you're going. That's a FYI Each light has a rubber piece that slides off to expose a USB A built in stick. There's a red charging light that is present as you charge off the computer or port. Both built in sticks worked just fine in recharging the lights. Simply slide the rubber stick cover back on & pop it back in the hat holder frame molding. over all it's a okay 'hat with lights system'.. It's made in China, so I can't do 5 stars due to lack of high quality control on alot of items from there. But for this item it does what they describe it to be & do so it will get 4 stars. The price point is on level with others & the color choices are insanely good!

Great safety item for walking or running after dark. Also a good item to keep in the car for a safety during roadside trouble.

Sometimes when I take my dog out for a walk after dark, it feels like I just don't have enough hands - not only do I need to hold his leash and pooper scooper, I have my keys and cell phone for its flashlight. Add in a stop at the trash or communal mailboxes, and it's really hoping for a miracle sometimes. With this hat, I can eliminate one of the items - and the light provided is definitely stronger than that of a cell phone app! You also have different lighting options, from the typical white light to a red flashing light - perhaps handy for someone who is lost or trying to attract another's attention - and various intensities of each light, so you don't have to risk blinding the neighbors unnecessarily. Even better, the lights are LED bulbs which can easily be removed from the hat and recharged by connecting to any USB port. So there's no need to worry about batteries that might die unexpectedly or having to purchase special batteries in the future. One point to take note - while the hat is described as unisex and "one size", I'm an adult woman with a fairly average-sized head and found the fit to be on the tighter side. Anyone with a larger head may want to take heed before buying.

This hat is soft and a slightly loose knit as opposed to a tight knit, like a regular beanie, and it's nice. The light works well. I recommend it for an item like this. It's "cool" for something that might not seem "cool"!
