I bought this after my boss got me a new computer so since I have always been use to 3 monitors I didn’t want to go back to having two. It took me mere 5 mins to download the drivers from the website since I do not own a mini cd driver. After that I saw my wallpaper on my screen and was glad I bought it

I have a relatively new Samsung monitor with VGA and DVI inputs and wanted to connect my new Lenovo laptop (without VGA out) to that monitor. Purchased this USB3->VGA adapter and installed it but, it messed up my display altogether. First of all, I wasn't even able to project my screen to the external display. Above all, the laptop display started having some weird pixels in the middle. I ended up uninstalling the drivers and then purchased a HDMI-DVI adapter to connect my laptop to the external display which works fine. Unfortunately I couldn't return the product as I was well beyond the 30 day return window.

WARNING DO NOT BUY, I ended up plugging in the adapter for the monitor and installed the driver software and it destroyed my graphics cards and my mother board on my laptop, THIS IS A SCAM.
