It's difficult to distinguish between fake and genuine Xiaomi pistons by looking at photoshopped pics. Fakes go for unrealistically low prices, and always have poor sound quality, particularly with dull mids and highs. Genuine pistons have full, well-balanced sound, with a bottom end that's rich but never flabby. There are online guides that describe the most obvious difference between fake and real Xiaomi pistons.

Do these have an angled (90°) plug?

The first generation wasn't angled, but later models definitely are.
