Super strong but grindy
These hood struts are super strong and open the hood without assistance from like halfway open. That said, I think they are so strong that they make a bit of a grinding sound when they fully open up all the way because they are applying so much pressure. Either that or the fitment is not the best. WD-40 did not eliminate the grinding sound either. The head of the strut wobbles a bit where the OEM ones are solid all the way through. But I mean, for the price, they work. I got them for like $12.

Work well.
They are quite a bit smaller than the oem supports.The attaching socket isn't nearly as thick either.That said, they seem to work well, holding the hood up way better than the original, tired supports.

Recommend for C6 Corvettes
Good struts were easy to install and noticeably assist in easing the hood.

Same quality as OEM part but much less expensive
The product appears high quality but only time will tell how long they last. These were at least one half the cost of the OEM equivalent. Very easy to install. Shipped very rapidly.

Good fit and born ready to support your hood!
These struts do what they say they should. If they don't hold up (get it) well in the coming years, I'll be back here and let you know.

Hood shocks
Excellent price wonderful product work perfect on my Corvette

Easy install, perfect size
Perfect fit, were easy to install. No instructions, but most gas struts have a retainer clip you have to pull back on to install. Had these on in 5 minutes.

These worked perfectly on my 2006 Z06! Now the hood stays up when it’s open!
