Projector shelf
It does what it’s meant to do. I’m glad I bought it.

I never knew we needed this so badly!
We love this metal projector shelf for our bedroom. It is the perfect option for us as we don’t have a dedicated space for projection, so it can be moved around. It is also nice that it is a no drill option as we rent and do not want to fill that many holes. It can be propped as needed, and fit securely while holding the weight of the projector. It does not seem to be startled if you move around too much and keeps steady for a good visual from the projector. I would say it is sturdy, durable, easily adjustable, easy to use and light enough of a weight that it is not hard to move. It has solved more problems than I even realized we had when trying to watch with the projector!

Saved Me from Drilling More Holes (Thanks Pinterest…)
I thought I was done once I mounted my projector in the media room. Then my wife found a better idea on Pinterest. So yeah… plans changed. I needed something that would keep the projector elevated without drilling more holes, and this ended up being the solution. What I like is how versatile it is. You can mount it onto different surfaces instead of being locked into one fixed position, which helped me adapt to a completely new setup without starting over. Build-wise, it’s sturdier than I expected. It holds the projector securely and doesn’t feel flimsy once it’s in place. The adjustable angle is also key—you can fine-tune the projection instead of being stuck with one direction. It’s not a massive platform, so you’ll want to make sure your projector size fits within its footprint, but for a standard unit it works well. If your setup changes often (or you live with someone who finds new ideas on Pinterest), this is a really practical option to have on hand.

Solid Shelf, One Small Caveat
I recently picked up a projector for my bedroom and was fully prepared to just balance it on my nightstand and call it a day. Then I came across this shelf, and I'm glad I did. It clips onto my headboard cleanly, without any drilling or wall damage, and the adjustability is genuinely useful; I was able to dial in the angle and height to get a solid, centered image without much fuss. The steel construction feels reassuringly solid. The open, vented platform is a nice touch too; airflow matters for projector longevity, and this design doesn't trap heat the way a solid shelf would. My one real concern is the legs. The main platform is metal, but the adjustable legs are plastic, and they're the part that takes the most stress, especially around the tightening nuts. Plastic can become brittle or start to strip with repeated adjustment, and that's the last thing you want supporting a projector above your bed. It's not a dealbreaker, but it does feel like the weakest link on an otherwise well-built product. Bottom line: If you've got a headboard-style bed frame and want a no-fuss, no-damage projector mount, this is a genuinely smart solution. Just be gentle with those plastic legs and don't overtighten them.

Narrow Plastic legs detracts from otherwise well designed (thin) metal shelf
ELARABERRY No drill metal projector shelf: I selected this specific model because the listing says "metal shelf". Instead of a projector, I plan to use it to hold my laptop at the perfect height on my couch. Setting up the projector shelf, I realized that only the shelf itself is metal. The 2 legs are plastic. Not only are the 2 legs plastic but, they are not well secured to the shelf, being wobbly. Each leg is connected to the shelf by 2 short machine bolts. There is no washer and no nut securing the bolt to the shelf. A washer and nut is standard with bolts to keep everything in between (shelf and leg bracket) tightly sandwiched together which would eliminate any wobbling. The nut and washer also help to prevent the bolt from vibrating out position. This exact issue was evident on this product right out of the box. Both bolts were half unscrewed and the legs were very wiggly. No matter how tight I made the bolts, there was alway a bit of play (wiggle) in the legs because all that torque is only being held by the leg, no bolt on the other side to secure it tightly. I cannot even add my own washer and nut to better secure it because the included bolts are too short. I would have to replace all 4 bolts. The other issue is with the tapering of the plastic legs. Both legs taper to a narrow tip, putting all the shelf's weight down into 2 narrow spots in the couch. Focusing all this force on 2 spots causes my couch to indent. The legs are poking into the fabric of the couch, which will eventually damage if not rip into the fabric (pic1). A better idea would have been to include adapters - round rubber pads that slide over the tips of the leg and spread out the force. Diffuse the weight from 2 narrow points into a broader area, just how a tank spreads out all of its weight across the tank's tread tracks Instead of focusing everything on 2 narrow wheels. FINAL THOUGHTS: The metal shelf is well designed. The metal is a bit thin but, sufficient for its purposes. The narrow plastic legs are a disappointment. This kit will get the job done but the legs could have been designed better. A lot better.

Handy Little Projector Perch (No Tools Needed!)
I’ve been really happy with this no-drill metal projector shelf—it’s a simple idea that’s executed well and feels much sturdier than I expected for a floating-style design. The metal frame and platform feel solid and rigid, and the joints don’t wobble when I adjust the angle, so I’m not nervous about putting my compact projector on it for movie night. The finish looks clean enough to pass in a living room or bedroom without screaming “utility shelf,” and the foldable design is a nice touch for small spaces since it tucks flat against the wall when I’m not using it. Functionally, the adjustable angle makes a big difference; being able to tilt the shelf lets me line up the projection perfectly, whether it’s mounted beside the sofa or near the bed, and I don’t have to stack books or shims under the projector anymore. In my case, I “installed” it next to the couch as a dedicated projector stand and later moved it to the bedroom for a weekend movie binge—both times the adhesive/fastening system held firm, and repositioning was far easier than drilling. It’s also versatile: when I’m not using the projector, I’ve used it as a little floating display shelf for a small plant and speaker, so for the price, it ends up being a pretty cost-effective, multipurpose piece of gear.

Awesome versatile design for portable projector
This is such a great stand for Portable projector, especially if you like to move it to various locations in your home. It clamps right onto my headboard which is great for projecting onto the ceiling when lying in bed. I can also clamp it to the back of my couch for use in the living room when needed. I love the portability and ease of use; I used it right out of the box without any installation, though there is some included hardware to help make the shelf extra sturdy if you’re going to be using it in a more permanent spot. Overall I love the thoughtful design and quality of this projector shelf and think it’s a great value.

Heavy and durable wall mount
This Shelf is indeed strong and durable and primarily made of metal. The metal is well coated, and it has versatile slotting for mounting a projector or whatever AV equipment you like. My issue is the weight of the shelf. It’s pretty heavy. I like it has a little flip down arms that you can use his support brackets and it did come with nice thick long screws for mounting some of this weight but it’s just gonna be too much for me. I want to mount a star projector that weighs less than 3 pounds. In my need, this was overkill. If you’re looking for a good heavy durable wall mountable shelf for your AV equipment and you’ve got some strong studs in your wall by all means go for it. It’s a good size very convenient and not to obnoxious in the room.
