As an avid crossbow enthusiast, I've had the pleasure of testing out the 36-piece aluminum crossbow bolts, and they've proven to be a reliable addition to my gear arsenal. The bolts are pretty, sharp and strong but have one fatal flaw. They come apart very easily. I fixed this by taking the bold apart, Putting into it one drop of Gorilla glue in the metal part and putting the bolt back together. This fixed them all with just a small effort. Now they shoot perfectly.

These bend if they hit something (like the pliers I left on top of my target basically destroyed one of them) or if you hit anything hard they bend. The plastic nocks pull out which is an issue if you shoot against a foam backstop because they go in pretty deep. You can glue the nocks in using super glue but then they don't fly quite as well because the glue is hard to get in evenly. Weights seemed pretty consistent around 9 grams. I thought about upping the weight using BB's or similar (glued at the front) but ended up switching to slightly longer (8") carbon fiber bolts that weigh around 12 grams. Carbon fiber bolts seem to fly more consistently especially at longer distances due to weight, longer vanes, etc. Bottom line - if you are shooting these for fun and or at close ranges (5-10 yards max) then they'll do OK. If you want to go further they are too light and unstable to get good accuracy. Seller reached out to see if there were any issues and dealt with the problems I mentioned promptly. These are replacements for the ones I've lost over time. I actually started making my own with wooden dowels and card stock for flights and they work pretty OK. Pierced an avocado that the squirrels chewed with my homemade ones and know these will also penetrate. I'm just stocking up to be ready for when time's get really bad and we go Road Warrior

Good cheap training bolts, id say they got a 18% chance of breaking on impact

Work really well the feather comes off so when be careful when you’re pulling it out, but if it gets lodged in, take the feather out and push it out really good you should buy I recommend

I am using a 3d printed crossbow and it bends the bolts when I fire it at solid targets. I can't imagine how badly a real crossbow would bend them.
