An amazing guide to the Sawtooth\White Cloud Mountains
Margaret Fuller has been backpacking in the Sawtooth Mountains for a very long time. Her vast knowledge and experiences of the area is priceless, weather you are an avid backpacker or just looking for short day hikes. Each trail is and location is described in detail and measured in time, difficulty, elevation gain and so on.I owned this book already, and bought one for my dad, via Amazon. in the book was also a slip of paper informing of changes on specific trails due to recent fire activity, this was thoughtful and great to include. If you are thinking about hiking or backpacking in the Sawtooths or White Clouds, by this book!

Great resource
This book is only going to be of interest to people who live in or who have skied in Idaho. For those of us who grew up skiing here the book is a lot of fun, with interesting stories about the ski resorts I grew up in that I did not know before.

Margaret is the Best
Having lived near the Sawtooth Mountains for 5 years and hiked many trails there I found Margaret's trail descriptions to be right on. She is witty, poetical, and as precise as she can be about directions.

This is a wonderful, well-researched little volume about Idaho's ski lifts
This is a wonderful, well-researched little volume about Idaho's ski lifts, past and present. It contains some surprises even for long-time natives of a skiing state.

It was as described, thanks for the business. Now I can find more trails to hike in my second favorite mountains to hike in.

A History of Idaho Skiing.
Where else are you going to get historical information on now defunct ski areas of Idaho? Well written and many black and white photos throughout the book.
