I needed this review to return to a teaching company after being away from upper level math for 19 years. Perfect for me and use with students.

After having a 4 year break after highschool, I was able to use this book to get up to speed, which saved me a lot of embarrassment of asking very basic questions during the semester.

This is one of the many books I have bought through Amazon and I am very satisfied with it. Anytime I order a book that is described as good or excelent condition they come in and look brand new. This was no exception, it came in looking like a new book...

I need this book as a reference book for seventh grade math since written on a level that seventh graders can comprehend. Additionally, the examples in the workbook are applicable and adequate for seventh graders. It seems that Amazon.com is my ‘turn to place’ to find books that I need. It is a total waste of time to try to find books locally, either their web site are convoluted or misrepresent themselves to draw you into their establishments. I give Amazon.com an ‘Atta boy.’

Bought this for my daughter who struggles with math. She felt that the Geometry for Dummies helped so we bought this with the workbook. She says it helps. Since I have no memmory of my Trig class, I am glad that this is a good substitute. Whew!

I bought for an advanced student who wanted to self-study beyond her Algebra 2 class. It was a companion set for Trigonometry for dummies. The problems are a bit too few; and any introduction to sine, cosine and tangent that depends on the mnemonic SohCahToa is terrible. Students should learn the right triangle positions of the three basic trig functions intuitively, simple by practicing until they know how to "grab" the sine, cosine or tangent of an acute triangle simply by looking -- not by having to memorize a trick phrase. As a teacher of over 50 years, working with students of all ages and skill levels, I can attest to the ease with which students can handle higher trig problems once that trust their skill at using these three basic functions fluidly.

The price was reasonable, the shipping was professionally and promptly done. It is in good condition for a used volume, and it makes a nice resource to use on an informal study basis (I'm not afraid to wear it out with use!)
