I mix with coconut oil and sometimes baking soda for toothpaste. Seems to be effective, I am happy with the purchase.

I mix the bark with a gallon of distilled water, let it soak and boil it. It makes a wonderful tea that I can keep in the refrigerator after straining the leaves from it. For years I couldn't eat anything that turned to sugar, which includes many carbs. With the blood cleansing power of this bark, I am now able to eat most anything.
