Love the toy
My friends son has this toy and my son loved it. We decided to get one, do not regret it. He is 4yrs old and this is the only thing he plays with. Great toy and also teaches him how to put his own toy together. It is definitely a advance for him to put together by himself, but it is still a great toy to sit together and build together. Must have, definitely recommend.

Great teaching toy
Purchased for my 3yr old. Her dad and her loved building it. Rated a 4 only because it drains through a new battery is less than a day. I have tried Duracell, energizer, and store brands

Great gift
My seven year old grandson loved this gift. He laid out all of the pieces on the floor and went to work. He learned about organization and how to read and follow instructions. He was very proud of his accomplishment.

Please don't waste your $20.
This robot is terrible. My 9 year old daughter who regularly does children's engineering projects much more advanced than this kept coming to me for help. I quickly realized how terribly constructed this is, and how inaccurate and nonsensical the instruction manual is. I deconstructed what my daughter built and rebuilt in multiple times. The pieces DO NOT come together as instructed. Or at all for that matter. This product is irritating quite frankly. I imagine whichever Chinese factory this came from smugly laughing as they ship these units out. It's insulting.I'll digress. Hopefully I'm wrong and this is a defective one off. But I doubt it. Don't buy this product. Give kiwi crate a try.

Excellent quality
This was a gift for my nephew. He is 5 will be 6 next month. He put this together almost completely by himself by looking at the diagrams! I was super impressed with the quality of the item as well.

Fun to build the first time, parts wear out after first assembly
This airplane was fun to build the first time with my daughter. She's only 3, but she helped me find the right pieces and assisted with assembly. She loved the final product. After about a week, I disassembled it for storage. When we decided to build it again, I learned that my husband tossed the instruction manual and couldn't find a copy anywhere online, so we had to build it from memory, which wasn't too bad. The unfortunate thing is that some of the little black connector parts had gotten weak and broken so they weren't holding things together well like the wheels with the axis. Also, the puzzle-like pieces also became a bit loose, so the wings don't hold up straight but sag and bend downwards. The airplane can't be touched without pretty much falling apart now, which is a bummer.

They love mixing and matching to see what they can build ...
The first time through, my 6 year old struggled because he didn't understand how important the small details were. But a couple days later he built his younger brother's plane without a hitch. They love mixing and matching to see what they can build next.
