If you're looking to keep your feet and toes toasty warm, these Cabiniste 100% duck feather and down insulated booties are what you need. Designed to offer comfort and warmth in camp, at the cabin or just around the home, Cabiniste Down Booties are lined with soft, luxuriant polyester fleece. They are insulated with 100% RDS certified duck feather (60%) and down (40%) for maximum warmth and minimal weight. They are easy to pull on, and internal elastic bands help the bootie to stay on your foot. The snap at the cuff can be undone, and the cuff rolled down for a lower-cut look if desired. Underfoot, the 3/4" foam midsole provides cushion. The sole is nylon with polyester beads to add friction (note, the soles are designed to be worn indoors). A perfect gift for friends or family. Cabiniste Down Booties: like toasters for your feet!

Even better than I hoped!
I have lived in down booties during the winter for years. I wear them so much the soles wear out and I tape them to make them work as long as I can. This year, I was facing the truth that I had to buy a new pair. After a LOT of searching these were the only option I could find with soft soles and real down. I am SO pleased with my purchase! They are exactly as pictured and described. I was sure I would like the top with the snap, but I love it. Have always had a drawstring top, but this allows me to turn the tops down if I begin to get too warm. The no slip bottoms are just fine and what I am used to, though they will eventually wear down and become more slippery. I totally love the fuzzy inside. I don't even have to wear socks. They fit perfect and as a long time down slipper wearer - I highly recommend them!

Backpacking win.
Okay, are the bottoms covered in sap and tree bits forever? Yes. Do I care? Not in the slightest. These are at/under 1lb of weight and provide an IDEAL camp shoe in fall/mild winter backpacking. My feet are forever cold even in warm weather, so mucking about camp (packing up, making food, bathroom breaks in the middle of the night, trips to filter water) in these instead of my trail shoes means my hikers and socks can dry and my toes are toasty warm. I was surprised with how well these stood up: I walked around more than I was planning to (atop full sticks and tree debri, on top of burned bushes, across 1/8 mile sandy, rocky trails to cold river along granite slopes to filter water, then in a sandy and populated camp up metal steps to a pit toilet) and the bottoms are still in great shape (aside from the tree sap glued on bits). I don't think the nubs rubbed off at all, surprisingly, and in 37 deg + 7mph wind (mild autumn morning in the mountains) my feet practically sweat while just sitting atop my bear canister drinking tea and eating snacks. I did not use this in my bag as I made the bottoms too dirty, and my feet were not as warm over night in my -0 bag with inner lining and jacket over the top. I went back and bought the short versions. Worth the weight, I am very surprised and am going to buy another pair so I am never without - would be great on winter cabin trips just for snuggling (ie. pair w/o messy bottoms). Nice but runs big
Very nice and well made. However, I'm a woman's size 7,5 shoe size and even the small is slightly too big on me. If you are wondering what size to pick, definitely go down rather than up. I know that the bootie isn't exactly made to be walked in for any long stretches of time, but if way too big, the bootie becomes a tripping hazard. Moreover, if not snug, the bootie doesn't provide the warmth its intended for. Other than paying attention to the size there's no concerns with this product, fast shipping and nice bootie.

hard soles, overpriced
over priced. bought my gf these and another pair of much less expensive down booties. she picked the $13 pair over these Cabiniste. the cheaper pair had better foam soles and the Cabiniste are not as comfortable. I thought Cabiniste had a better liner feel but my gf quickly liked the soles as the key factor of the "winter warm cozy quilted down indoor slipper boots" yes, that is the title

Real deal- very warm
I’m a 9.5 and I got the large, first try on I thought oh no, they may be too small, but within 30 min on they molded to foot, I still have a good inch or more of toe room.my coworker insisted I go with something down filled and told me to check the materials list while shopping and I’m glad I did! Lots say down filled but are actually polyester, these are true down filled and so amazingly toasty! Love that they come above ankle. Snap helps with putting them on and off easily. There’s a bit of elastic (inside of filling) that is just right to keep them from slipping down. I don’t feel it at all, I only noticed when putting them on to make sure I pulled bootie up and around ankle.

Fabulous and exceptionally comfortable. I am very impressed with the thoughtful details built into this bootie. The clever elastic strap hidden inside bootie, over instep holds slipper perfectly on my feet. The no slip 'grip pattern' on the sole is also a thoughtful addition that gives me confidence that I won't slip while walking around the house. They are warm, cozy and not at all bulky, packing down so small - I always toss them in bag to take almost any cold weather trip. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Wonderful - 1 SZ Down Conforms In Couple Of Minutes
8W or 8.5R foot fit SZ S - at first I couldn't get 'in' completely due to fleece cable sock, heel hung over soleBare foot fit + toe box box conformed to toes, also width acrossBare foot a little moist, so I used a thin Anquier ankle sock and 'viola' - perfect fit !!The sole was stiff until I wore it for 10 min. then softened and conformed to footI prefer this thick sole due to cold weather, cold floorsNormally I'd order a M, it might work but a close fit S is nicer for walking safetyIf your foot is larger than 8.5, order a M, 8.5 or smaller, order a SThis bootie is well-made, thick down, super soft fabric inside and the warmest I've boughtMist/Wine goes with black, grey, white, pink, red, burgundy

GREAT slippers / SIZING ADVICE!!!!
I ADORE these slippers. I've had them for several weeks now, wearing them in quite cold weather, just around my house. They are comfortable and are keeping my feet incredibly warm. The design is fairly "sleek" for a down bootie. SIZING TIP!!! I wear a women's size 10 shoe. I ordered these in Medium, and they fit perfectly. I can wear these very comfortably with a sock as well. Couldn't be happier.
