What the picture showed is what I got. Not a pro by any means. Got it drilled and so far it's doing what I needed. After 30 + years of not bowling it serves my needs of a good ball.

Retro look, modern feel
I love my bowling bowl. I hadn't bowled in over 40 years and the last time I bowled bowling balls came in black. Period. So I was looking for a black bowling ball for that retro look. This ball was perfect! And it is easy to control and goes exactly where I send it.

New Spare Shooter
This is an excellent ball. I have had it drilled and used it for my spare shooting. My old spare shooting ball was a 14-lb ball and I felt that that ball was to heavy for my needs nowadays. This new ball is 13-lbs and I can aim with better precision and control it better than my old ball. I am glad I got this ball.

Great looking ball, poor packaging.
Ball is really pretty. Performance needs to be checked (will update). Packaging was HORRIBLE! I received the package in manufacturer's original box which was flimsy cardboard and was damaged/open. I almost returned the ball because who know how roughly it was thrown around in cargo. However, there were no surface issues.
