Excellent book for parents of all ages
I found this book to be very insightful. It helped me organize and prioritize my time, which has been especially challenging during the pandemic.

An Excellent Read!
I read Time to Parent and LOVED it! Bravo!! The entire book is highlighted, booked mark and has underlines all throughout. This is a book you keep on your shelf as a continuous reference throughout the years. This book served as a great outline for me to immediately implement a few of your strategies. Keeping all the balls in the air in my home is a really demanding endeavor, which leaves very little time to have fun, relax, rest and have downtime. The importance of being present and able to relate to my child are areas that I knew I needed to work on. Julie's parenting time matrix made this instantly feel doable.Thank you for bringing such awareness to parents in a direct, firm, loving and encouraging way!

Excellent read for anyone who has children in their lives
Love this book. It's broken down into four very manageable doses for both being an adult in a child's like, and for caring for oneself. The tone is super warm and encouraging, made me feel like I was doing okay and have room to grow in a very positive way. I am not a parent, but this book helped me better relate to nieces, nephew and students, and also helped me understand and process my own upbringing. Highly recommend!!!

A must-read!
I've read so many parenting books but Time to Parent by Julie Morgenstern is the ONLY BOOK that stuck with me (in my head and my heart) as far as navigating this crazy world of parenting. How genius is her idea of giving parenting its job description? With PART and SELF, I can see clearly now where my time is being spent, which areas need improvement and focus. This book is a keeper! Thank you Julie Morgenstern!

Fine but not great, could be useful for newbie
I bought this after reading a review that mentioned an exercise where a family evaluates the chores distribution among the family. Guess what? Write each chore on index cards and pass them out to the family members that do them. Visually look to see how to redistribute. On the one hand, a great idea to visualize. On they other hand, there is nothing more than that to help redistribute chores or to figure out how to account for the difference between "making dinner" - a daily 30-60 minute chore and "water plants" a weekly 20 minute chore. I did like her acknowledgement that some people gravitate to some kinds of tasks and that should be taken into account when dividing up chores. The quizzes, for me, were useless. They were not structured to capture the real challenges or strengths. I had high hopes and was disappointed in this book.
