This White Noise Machine is one of the best purchases I made to close the year.For starters I can say it is ideal when I practice yoga, I get ready to sleep at night (specially if you are pregnant too), and when I need to concentrate on a task (organizing paperwork, working with numbers, finalizing a paper, etc...).The highlight for me is that the item in itself remains innocuous for you, and will be innocuous for your baby if you are going to be a mom, or if you have recently become one. I'm aware of the many apps that deliver similar advantages to the white noise machine, however by using this product you eliminate negative radiation in your brain and your baby's brain. There are all kinds of research pro and against phone radiation, but in a nutshell, increased numbers of children experimenting autism and its characteristics can be attributed to radiation levels impacting their developing brain (phones, microwaves,...).Other functions are the seven nature sounds (well last one is baby lullaby sound type) and the 3-mode timer, coupled with two ways to get it connected either USB or regular AC wall connection. I believe you can use the USB to power other devices, but I have not tried it. You also count with a 3.5 headphone jack.In my opinion this is a 4.5 stars item. Why? Although you do not need any batteries (might be a plus point for you), you need to keep it plugged at all times for it to work properly.I really like the white noise machine and I would love to use it in a camping, train,etc where you do not necessarily have an AC connection, however I will check with USB battery packs and a I plan on updating this review.Meanwhile you can start the year with the item I finished it with, if it fulfill your needs as described. I recommend it.

I purchased this to replace the one my children have now as the volume nob is intermittent.It feels well built though lighter than expected. The sound quality is good and its range of volume is as I would need for a sleep machine.Unfortunately the sounds aren't nice for napping - except the white noise sound. The waves icon button is the one I was hoping to use but unfortunately it was more babbling brook than ocean waves.Bummer that you can't upload your own noises.

This machine is great and more then I expected! All sounds are realistic! There are many choices. It makes to so relax and no other noise. My baby sleep well with the music as well. I purchased this machine and want to try. Now, I love this one and will get another one to put in guest room.

The white noise didn't sound like white noise. Also, it wasn't loud enough for my husband and I. I changed my rating from a 2 to a 3 due to the fact that the seller was kind enough to reach out to me regarding my purchase, which I thought was very nice and noteworthy.

If you have slight insomnia this is the right thing you should buy. to create a good sleeping environment and relieve the stress. And it has 7 different sounds can be choosed, adjustable volume and the timer function. Good stuff!

Before sleeping in a strange place is not used to, now go out to travel with it in any place can easily fall asleep, small area convenient to carry.very good.

I learned that white noise helps baby to sleep. So I purchased it for my baby. IT DOES WORK! It helps him calm down and fall asleep easily. Definitely a must-have for baby!

I used white noise app for my son before, but I actually want to keep him away from cell phones, so this product becomes the best replacement. Besides, I highly recommend people try something like this if you have sleeping problems.
