LEO Spinning Reels are part of this order. I tried a brand new one and got a bite, pulled to set the hook. It set, and I had the fish. Started reeling in, and the handle of the reel cracked. split, and small parts started shooting out from the reel handle. Needless to say, I lost the fish and had a heck of a time pulling in the line and wrapping it around the ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS LEO SPINNING REEL. I had another brand new LEO spinning reel, and replaced my broken reel with the new one. I got a bite right away and I pulled to set the hook. The hook set and the fish was running. When I started to reel the line in, crack, split and parts started flying from the handle AGAIN. The exact same thing happened, like an instant replay. These reels have zero value. If someone give you one for a gift, charge them a $20 AGGRAVATION fee. You might also consider an additional DISAPPOINTMENT fee.

1st of all i loved this kit... I like for everything to be able to fold up and transport easily and stay organized. Equally if not more important is the actual quality of the rod/reel. Its very solid quality for my amateur fishing. My daughter has already caught 3 fish. Overall I'm impressed with the quality of the rod/reel/kit for the price. The Rod and reel is great. My only issue is the carrying cases. 1 of mine has already broken a zipper. Now the cases are great size and there is no struggle putting the equipment back in which is a great thing... but the zipper track definitely feels a little cheaper and didn't hold up on the second outing. Otherwise for the Quality/Price i would have given this kit a solid 5 stars...

I got this rod today and I was quite excited but it broke in less than an hour. 2 of the eyes on the rod popped off with practically no effort, I popped the first one off with just my thumb when I tried to extend the rod a little bit. Underneath you could clearly see they used a very skimpy amount of very cheap glue to attach the eyes to the rod. It's clear that this product didn't even go through a quality check.As for the rest of the kit, the reel seems nice but that's about the end of the good things I can say. The bait that's supplied is really poor quality outside of the crankbaits. The packaging for the fishing line was all in japanese for some reason... There's also no instructions provided in any form which is a bit odd for what looks the be a beginner kit. I've also looked around and you can easily find videos elsewhere with cheaper and better setups you can get at any Walmart, like within the 30 dollar range.Cool look, cool idea, but if the eyes start popping off with less than a pound of pressure, then this thing wont last very long when you're actually fishing.

Everything you need for fishing is included. Everything that comes in set and it's enough to start fishing and have fun.I love this product very much and can't wait to catch my first fish with it!

It's fine for a beginner and is in a nice case for packing. But the downfall is the rod it self. The stiffness of the rod is heavy and if the manufacturer would have changed the flex as it goes to the tip of the rod it would be nice. The problem is that the rod is still all the way until the last segment at the tip. So this rod if and should it break will happen in the last tip section where it flex's the most. Just be careful, there ya go. Oh by the way I have been fly fishing for some 35 yrs and have rods that cost well over $1,000 so I do know rods. Have a get day on the water.

Brought this out the day after I got it in the mail for bass fishing. Caught two small fish and toss them back. When I caught my 5 pound bass, it broke the crank handle on the fishingrod. Everything is solid built except the actual handle for cranking. It’s plastic. Everything else is high-quality, except the handle. I had to drag the fish in by hand. I got the fish, and it tasted delicious, I was just so disappointed that the handle broke.Also, I want to recommend not using the line they provide unless you’re going for small fish. It’s a monofilament line. Yes, you can catch large fish with it, but monofilament is meant to stretch. You can loose heavy fish with it. Purchase a threaded line. The line at providing if the basses any heavier than 5 pounds they’ll just spit it out because you’re not giving enough tension to actually sink the hook.

This fishing rod kit is incredible! It comes with everything you would need to fish well. You can take this bag to the lake and start fishing right away. It also comes with fishing line and hooks so you are able to use it right out of the package. The fishing line that comes with it is also made of high grade material and isn't like the cheap line you see at fishing shops. It's really quite small when collapsed and extended into a surprisingly short length. It's very easy to just throw in my back pack and head out.Of course the weight limit on your catch isn't very heavy but heavy enough for a fish. If you're a casual fisher like me and want something portable, but want something high-quality, I would highly recommend this fishing kit.

It's been several years now using telescopic rods, not because this type of rods are the most resistant but I changed that for portability and space saver in my backpack.I like that Is very short and lightweight that fits in my small backpack and most important very firm.The reel seems very quiet and smooth, for the size of the reel I'm using a 8lbs test line and works with no issues.

Within the first 5 minutes of trying the carrying case the shoulder strap broke. I went to fish with it and the zipper broke. The fishing reel and rod works perfectly well though. If it wasn’t for the condition of the cheap carrying case I would have easily given this product a 5 starts. I caught a 10lbs musky with this rod (see picture), and the rod seemed to hold on pretty nicely. Fyi, I had a different line on the reel, not the one that comes with it.I contacted the sellers, they promptly responded saying they will send me another bag. After 2 weeks i received a brand new bags which seems to work better. Changed my rating to 5 stars for that reason

I bought this rod less than two weeks ago for a camping trip. After only a few times using it, it broke in two separate places. The button that holds the cap broke off (which I had to replace with duct tape in the backcountry), and the reel handle broke with only light usage. It won't lock in place anymore, making the reel virtually useless. Very disappointed.

It broke as soon as I took it out of the package. The end tip portion is stuck and won't go back in. So now it doesn't fit in the bag and the second d to last eye ring came unglued. I was really looking forward to using this item right away. Very disappointed that I cant use it. Up date - I managed to fix and glue the rod. Since then the seller contacted me and made every effort to keep me happy. Great after sale service! 4 stars now. The fishing rod is really nice as well!

I like the feature of the extendable handle. The eyelits are sold stainless steal and great quality. The rod maintains its strength when fully extended. Good quality reel. Light weight with reverse. Locking folding handle. Good variety of lures includes. Thanks up to a 14 lb line. Love this purchase

The whole set was good but the reel broke after 2 hours of fishing ...I must add that after issuing the opinion, I was approached by a customer service and promised to send a new reel. A very pleasant surprise. I definitely recommend it. May more such honest companies.
