The Fall of a Republic: Julius Caesar and Rome’s Fate
This book explores Julius Caesar’s rise amid Rome’s crumbling Republic, caught between the Senate’s traditionalists and reformers like Cataline. As Caesar climbs the ranks, securing loyalty through military success, Rome spirals into civil war. Pompey the Great, once an ally, becomes his greatest rival. With a narrative built on primary sources like Plutarch and Suetonius, the book brings history to life, immersing the reader in the betrayals, power struggles, and military genius that defined Caesar’s era.
