The bathtub in the flat I bought was very old and grubby so I turned to Ekopel. See the amazing before and after photos I took.Absolutely delighted with Ekopel. It has made the bath look brand new. Not much else I can say about the brilliant product so I will list some tips below.Watch the YouTube videos before starting, but note the following too.The product actually has to be quite warm when you use it. I put my oven on, opened my oven door and sat the tub on the open door and warmed it up like that; taking care to keep turning the tub so that it didn’t get overly hot. On a really hot day you could also put the tub in direct sunlight to warm it.Don’t panic if when you coat the bath it doesn’t look like you have enough. You will have.The product can be very messy. Use kitchen towel or a cloth to wipe it off your hands and any surfaces.If you have a ‘lip’ on the side of your bath and use the product on that, make sure you cover the side of the bath with tape or newspaper as the product will run down the side of the bathtub.IMPORTANT – don’t take the tape off the plughole too early. If you do the product will still be runny and will run down your plughole and possibly block it. Keep scooping up the product from the bottom of the bathtub and only take the tape off the plughole when the product has settled and is starting to set a bit.

So very impressed with this product, it was easy to prepare and apply. Using this totally transformed my bath from old and grubby looking, to bright and shiny it looks brand new now. I highly recommend this product as I stated its easy to prepare and easy to apply to the bath and the result is excellent.

Great product that could potentially save you £100s. It’s worth doing the prep really well. Masking cleaning etc. Watch some of the YouTube videos to get the general idea. All the unevenness when applying magically disappears after application. No idea how durable it’s going to be but it sure looks good.

Excellent product. We bought this on recommendation from our neighbours, who had successfully re-enamelled their bath, and used it to re-enamel a 60yr old partially rusted sink. It arrived very swiftly, and was exactly as described. Product information was accurate and helpful, as were online videos demonstrating how to use it. The process of using it was simple and the end result was fantastic. Highly recommended.

Brilliant product. The surface is so shinny and hard wearing . It has given a hundred year old bath a new lease of life !!! Would recommend this product to anyone restoring a bath. Simply superb

Used on a cast iron, badly worn bath. A very high quality product, really does leave the bath looking like new. I didn't make a perfect job, but am very happy with the result. It's not as easy as it looks in the videos, and preparation is everything. Make sure the masking tape is stuck fast and accurately, and DON'T panic, it is adjustable for a few hours after applying. I'd use it again.

Found it easier to use than expected, bath looks so much better, would definitely recommend. We followed the instructions exactly which I think you must do to achieve the best result.

Il prodotto non è di facile utilizzo come sembra dalla descrizione. Una volta mescolati i due recipienti hai poco tempo a disposizione per finire il lavoro. Bisogna fare molta attenzione quando lo si applica sulla vasca. Sporca molto se non si è attenti a isolare bene tutto intorno. Inoltre bisogna anche fare attenzione a non creare polvere e pellucchi prima che asciughi, una volta caduto un filo anche piccolissimo ti rovina tutto il lavoro perché anche se ci provi a livellare con una spatola non viene più così nitido come quando si auto-livella da solo. Bisogna anche fare attenzione a quando lo si stende la prima volta a non buttare troppo prodotto sui bordi perché collando si accumula sul fondo della vasca e sarà difficile tirarlo fuori e livellare quello che rimane sotto.Però c'è da dire che una volta finito e asciugato la vasca diventa più bella di una comprata nuova. Splende come porcellana. Insomma io sono donna e ci sono riuscita a fare da sola ma lo sconsiglio a chi è poco pratico di questo genere di lavori.
