Delicious for cupcakes!
This mix is so easy to use! And it tastes excellent. The lavender is perfect and not overpowering. You can make it vegan if you want, so it's very versatile. I used organic milk, and olive oil for the oil. Made a lemon buttercream frosting. Seriously ate two right away. Oops.

and beautiful. It has a nutty flavor
Very well packaged, and beautiful. It has a nutty flavor. There is only enough to bake once or twice with, so its very expensive.

Delicious!
I am so into all of the Wholesome Chow Bake-mixes! Each one is absolutely wonderful! They are so easy to make. I usually use one package in a muffin tin for easy single servings. The flavor is so good and the texture so moist I never use icing or toppings!

Wholesome chow - please come back!!!
What can I say.... this company was AMAZING for special needs families and sensitive eaters. I just purchased the last one of the lavender cake mix I could find - they changed name/company?, and then I think went out of business. Made a lot of peeps very sad. We'll miss you Wholesome Chow.... :(Hopefully someone else will create good, healthy organic gf,dairy/casein free, nut free etc. etc. products... they were soooo yummy!

Lavender + coconut = a perfect pair
Very good! Subtle lavender taste and easy to make. Paired amazingly with coconut icing.

Lavender cake
I love the flavor of this cake but it was a bit dense and I thought it would be fluffy but my vinegar was a bit old so maybe it didn't work as well. I will order more and try again

passable
It was OK. Dense, but it did rise beautifully. My biggest complaint is that the lavender was not evenly distributed because it was not ground up and mixed with the flour. It is in this bite, but not the next one, because the little lavender buds tend to migrate towards the bottom of batter. I put dark chocolate ganache on top and it was good when I had the bites with lavender and ganache.

Yummy and simple!
I made this just this afternoon and I was really pleased with how it turned out- I used vanilla unsweetened almond milk and the taste and consistency was just perfect. I even swirled in a little violet food coloring for a lavender color. A little expensive but well worth the money for such a special treat.
