Wholesome Chow Organic Gluten Free Cake Mix Chai Spice - 12.1 oz

I LOVE this stuff! I usually use it to make muffins and follow the recipe. It is fast and easy and delicious!

I received this cake mix as a gift. I had reservations about it because I am always disappointed by gluten-free mixes. I decided to use it to make muffins as I had some blueberries that needed to be used quickly. I can honestly say that this is the BEST gluten-free mix I have ever used.Gluten-free baked goods often fall flat in taste and/or texture. This tastes fresh and doesn't have the peculiar slightly bitter taste that accompanies many gluten-free products. The texture is absolutely incredible! Remember how non gluten free muffins feel in your mouth? That's exactly how these muffins are! Really!To be fair, I did add a beaten egg even though the recipe doesn't call for it. I'm sure it made a difference, but I've made plenty of gluten-free muffins that no amount of eggs could improve!I can't wait to try other products from this company.

Some feedback on this product - Chai spice cake - was not so great. Honestly I think they taste quite good. We make them as cupcakes.
