I've purchased 4 or 5 over the years. This latest one (March 27, 2026+/-) was defective and the code could not be set. It was returned, but will not be replaced at this time)

This is the third one of these I have bought over 10 years. I use them when leaving the car on remote beaches in Baja Mexico while I kitesurf, swim or snorkel and can’t take my keys in the water. I have to replace them about every three years only because of the abuse I subject the safe to in salt water, sand and dirt. Other people hide their keys in the gas cap, bumper or bury them in the sand when on the water. Those are the first places a thief looks! One trick though is to wrap your keys in aluminum foil in the safe or the signal from the key fob can still start the car if someone breaks a window to get in! Very good security!

Lock did not work. Changed code as instructions said. Box would lock no matter what code i changed it to. Useless

Turned the screw to set the combination, and it broke. It will not lock anymore.
