These were sturdy so could hold a good serving of hot food without bowing or giving way. Very good quality. Cutlery was great. Made me feel better than using plastic. We burnt the used items on the fire outside rather than biodegrade in landfill. Worked brilliantly.

I bought these for a high tea picnic in the garden for a large number of guests - more guests than I had crockery/ cutlery for. Unlike cardboard plates, they were robust and did not collapse or go soggy under salad and dressings. And they are large enough for people to have a proper plateful of food, rather than having to keep coming back for 2nds and 3rds. They are so robust that I thought about washing them up and using them again afterwards - I didn't have time to try it on this occasion, but I might give it a go another time!

Trying to do our bit to recycle - these are good strong plates for a bbq and can be recycled.
