Durable Grill Cloth
"Cloth" is a bit of a stretch, but it is a woven plastic or nylon fibers. The cloth has plenty of open area to allow airflow or sound movement, yet is very resilient to the touch. The grill cloth can be glued, or preferably stapled to a supporting framework or baffle. This material is not flimsy, and care must be taken to properly stretch/pull the weave straight when installing it.Gentle heat may be used if needed to tighten the material even more after it is attached.NOTE: too much heat will melt or distort the fibers in the weave, use caution.

Beautiful but a bit difficult to work with.
This material ( I’m not sure if it’s considered fabric ) is extremely stiff and durable but that makes it a bit difficult to work with. For my project, I glued and clamped the material rather than stapling. Since it is more like woven fishing line, I felt that the staples could pull apart the material once stretched.I took plenty of time glueing section by section and allowing the glue to dry over night. The finished grilles seem to take some of the edge off the highest frequencies.I’m super satisfied with the look of these grills and it was worth the effort to apply the fabric.

Great Speaker Cloth
This stuff works fantastically well. The amount ordered was the exact dimension described. It was so easy to use a staple gun to secure this to the speaker cabinet that I made. It was easy to line up and keep straight. The tone from behind this fabric is fantastic! Highly recommended for that vintage look.

Great replacement grill cloth for tweed amps
I bought this to replace the grill cloth on a Roland Blues Cube 60. Contacted Roland to try to order the exact cloth, however, they would only sell it (at an outrageous price) already constructed to a frame. Although slightly different from the original Roland cloth you wouldn't be able to tell unless you had two amps side by side, and even then I think this grill cloth actually looks better than the original cloth, looks more like a vintage fender amp now, very pleased with the purchase.

Looks Good
I purchased this grill cloth fabric to finish off a 112 natural wood finish guitar speaker cabinet. This grill cloth has the appearance of a 50's style fabric with the durability of modern materials. The color is true to the image example at the top of the page but you have to keep in mind that the photo was taken on a black background. I spray painted the speaker baffle flat black before attaching the fabric and it blended well with the speaker resulting in identical results to the photo image. The lined fabric was also easy to line up and staple onto the baffle. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to upgrade the look of their project for a reasonable price.

Old school looking plastic thread constructed grill 'cloth'
This stuff looks just like the covers I had on my old audiophile speakers. Very nice details in the weaves too. It is fairly thick plastic 'cloth' and looks to be very durable. I stapled it down on 3 sides from the back of the encosure and it looks great--make sure you line it up parallel/perpendicular to have the best finished look!

Application Tips
Very vintage/retro looking grill cloth. This material is much heavier/thicker than the standard black grill cloth and more transparent. For best results; start by covering the front section of your grill only. Use and razor or scissors to trim all excess material around the edges. Next wrap the entire grill with a second sheet of material (pulling the grill cloth over and around the grill frame). trim excess material on back of grill frame. It's a little more work but the end result is a non-transparent retro look. you can see some pic's of this grill cloth here: kevtronics-speakers.com
