Milwaukee (2-pack) 48-11-2401 M12 RED Li-Ion Battery Packs

These are NOT MILWAUKEE!!!! I use Milwaukee everyday all day in the automotive industry and on my hobby projects, these are completely different design then Milwaukee batteries I have and have bought recently from Home Depot, casings have multiple differences. Different fonts, no seam where top comes off, font is reversed as opposed to OEM, prints look different, they don’t have serial numbers like Milwaukee and much more. I’m returning these and buying legit Milwaukee

I think these batteries fake or bad to begin with. One battery when plugged in to the charger does not turn on green or red light and the other causes the red and green lights on the charger to alternately flash back and forth which according to manual could be the battery is too hot, too cold or bad. Since I just took them out of the box which has no Milwaukee brand label, that means you sent me fake or bad batteries.

If you look at the image I posted with two batteries, the one on the left came with a tool I purchased within the last 60 days and the one on the right came from this item I ordered here on Amazon. The factory original that came with the tool does not have a seam with pressure-fit retainer clips, where the Amazon order item does. The screen printing on the batteries looks pretty legit, so this is either a really good counterfeit or a discontinued old model of the same product--my guess is the latter, this is probably the old version of the battery. Then if you look at the other picture I posted, you'll see that the casing is cracked on one of the two batteries from this set and I have only had them for a few weeks. I didn't think to check for cracks in the casement when it arrived, so I don't know if it came that way or if it just isn't built to last. Either way, the one with the cracked case really isn't safe for use at this point. The battery life of both batteries when used in the Milwaukee tools is just fine, no different from when I use the original batteries that came with the tools. So, I guess this is a case of "you get what you pay for". Not highly recommended.

Even though it’s a two pack I haven’t needed the second battery yet. I use these on the 3/8 Cordless Ratchet. I topped off the charge when they first arrived. I’ve replaced headlights, installed fog lights, removed and installed a bumper, removed and installed fender liners, and used on some engine components. It’s taken off and put on about 100-125 nuts, bolts, screws with the cordless ratchet and the battery only dropped 25% without being charged once when it first arrived. Battery life is great for the DIYs especially only being a 1.5 Ah battery.

Work great. they are genuine millwaukee battery. I did find out if you run them over with a Jeep they don’t work anymore. :)

Exactly what you would get at Home Depot, but way cheaper! I've been using them for a couple months mixed in with my originals and can't tell the difference. They last all day in my work shop. I've got 2 drills and rotate 3 batteries, always having one on the charger.

I have some devices where the manufacturer decided to change the design of the battery and now I can’t get new batteries! I hate that. I think it’s a scam to make you buy new devices.This company does not do that! I got my wonderful handheld drill/screwdriver thing over a decade ago. It’s the best tool I own! Every person who moves out of their parent’s home should get this as a gift. So, since my tool was still working great, I just needed these batteries. And POOF here they are.They work in the charger that came with the device and fit into the device perfectly.Thank you Milwaukee Tools for sticking with your great designs and not being greedy!

Only had them for two weeks so far but they are holding up well. Each battery will power my heated hoodie for around 3 hours on high. Be aware that some Milwaukee dual chargers (the ones that have a spot for both M12 and M18 batteries) will only charge one battery at a time, and give the "error flash" when a second battery is plugged in.

Great batteries perfect for my weekend trips into the woods!
