How easy is it to remove the adhesive?

Easier than I'd like. I've had to replace it once already. Will need to do so again. Customer service was uneven. Great at first, but then said any issue must have been my fault. Still a decent option, but keep that in mind.

Can the guard be use for both front and back of stove because I have an island stove?

I suppose it could be used on the front but it’s a good 4” tall, it might make cooking more challenging, though it would likely make it harder for small children to reach for things.

Will this fit a 36 7/8 inch wide cook top? Says up to 36", but adjusts to 38.5".
