PlayMakar Wireless Muscle Stimulator TENS Unit NMES or EMS for Strength

This unit has the exact same modes as a Pure TENS unit I purchased years ago. The Pure unit was great and I was able to continue using the electrodes with which it came by occasionally applying electrode gel to them.I purchased the Playmakar unit because I did not want to deal with the hassles of using a wired unit, so the wireless option was very appealing to me. The unit works well and is easy to use and not having the wires is very convenient. My only gripe with this product is that either the construction or design of the electrodes is not very good. It appears as if they're constructed in a 2 piece fashion, with the portion that holds the snap connectors glued to a white fabric that also holds the adhesive portion of the electrode. The issue is that after only a few uses, the top part of the electrode begins to slide off of the bottom part, thus separating the electrode. No amount of electrode adhesive is going to fix that issue. If only use your unit occasionally, then it may not be so bad because you won't constantly be replacing electrodes, but if you use your unit with any kind of regularity, at least 1-2 times per week, then be prepared to be purchasing electrodes on a regular basis and should probably incorporate the cost of having to buy electrodes monthly into your purchase analysis. Otherwise, this is a good unit that works really well.

I like the unit but now a year and a half later, I can’t get replacement pads without a “business license “ so this very expensive unit is now worthless to me. I am beyond mad and frustrated that I now have to purchase another tens unit because I can no longer purchase replacement pads. I can understand if they want new customers to purchase under this “business license “ but existing customers should be able to get the replacement pads without a hassle. It’s very unfair and for me, a waste of hard earned money!

I injured my shoulder playing baseball in college and this device has helped me tremendously. I can feel the physiological benefits when I put it on EMS to increase the blood flow to a specific area or if I play catch or do something active and need some pain relief, the TENS programs truly do provide the pain relief I need.

If you are looking for both a tens and ems look no further. This a a top of the line product and yes might be slightly high in price yet you truly get what you pay for. 2yr warranty and one of the best customer service product knowledge I've seen when I called in to inquire about the product. most companies give you only 2 pods and with 4 you can truly have a great treatment.

I use this product for neuropathy in my feet. The heads a re a bit big and bulky, but boy do they give me some relief. I’ve had tarsal tunnel release done on both my feet prior to receiving a diagnosis of neuropathy. I’ve even been told it’s artritis. Whatever the cause, at least I get some extended relief using this product. I’ve tried every known form of help from towel stretches to soaking hot and soaking in ice. I can put these on while watching tv and relax.

Purchased for wire free use - blue tooth connectivity is fine, but the size of receiving units makes it somewhat inconvenient. Purchased the extra web belt (for an exorbitant amount) and units stay in place on my lower back. Perspiration will greatly reduce the life of the adhesives, and additional pads are costly. Unit and accessories are overpriced. My old TENS really worked fine, but for the wires.

Finally a wireless version!I use it every night for my chronic back pain. It helps a lot. I use the mode Tens P8, intensity 8 for 30 minutes. It’s super relaxing!Just FYI...The electrode pads need to be replaced/purchased after a while. Other options is to buy adhesive gel to extend the pads life time.This device could be less pricey. The reason for my 4 stars.
