OK - hard to find almost pure cotton thin socks in white.

Stretchy Dress Socks - Don't feel like cotton
These super-stretchy material socks do not feel like cotton at all, even though the printed inkjet over-label says 100% cotton. The rest of the tags were in chinese so we couldn't tell what they said. But it seems like they were made from a purely synthetic material. If they are cotton, it's some kind of strange stretchy cotton we've never seen before. In the picture they look like standard white gym socks. They aren't. They are stretchy dress socks. We have returned them.

Terrific socks!!
These are terrific socks!! I'm not positive if these are 100% cotton or not, but I do know I didn't suffer any heat rash on my legs when I wore them, which is why I need 100% cotton. Will buy more before they disappear from Amazon!

These are not true crew socks. The fabric is quite light in weave and thickness. Also physically the socks are not tall enough for me on the leg.
