It fell apart as soon as I opened it.
It fell apart right out of the box! Not kidding! The glue holding the base on didn’t hold and the set screws that hold the lower rotating ring were under the ring instead of over the lip to hold it in place. The drive line for the carousel was shifted off of center and didn’t line up, which caused a bind that prevented the carousel of horses From rotating. I got it for my daughters birthday tomorrow and I don’t have time to send it back so, I just spent the last 2 hours repairing it. It’s gorgeous and I think she’ll love it, but I’ll never buy another product from this company. For what it cost I shouldn’t have to practically rebuild this product. Plus the LED lights weren’t working so I had to figure that out as well. A wire broke off of the little white connector inside when the base and internals fell out. It’s garbage....beautiful garbage, but garbage nonetheless.

I did not expect this level of quality! So detailed, and the music and lights make it magical. Much larger than I imagined as well.

Lovely, High-quality Music Carousel
I am soooo pleasantly surprised... this is an EXQUISITE carousel! Sturdy but delicate in its beauty, and designed with quality and femininity in mind. Its plays a sweet, soft tune while the horses dance around the glitter-filled crystal ball (mesmerizing). It also flashes different colors when the light mechanism is engaged. Every inch is exactly as vibrant as pictured (I bought the 'Purple'). Its well-made and definitely worth more than the $89 price tag! I am proud to present this as a keepsake gift to my new baby niece :-)!
