Matched Pair Mini K47 Microphones

Great sound across the board
Found Roswell Microphones when Recording Guru Warren Huart from Produce Like a Pro was interviewing Matt McGylnn of Roswell. Picked up a matched pair of the MK-47's and was impressed with the balanced frequency response and smoothness we all strive for in recording. They are even more fantastic through a Neve or Great River Channel Strip. Love the MK-47's on acoustic guitar, and they are sensitive enough to pick up the "hushed" nuances so difficult to capture when recording a nylon string acoustic. Was so happy with the MK-47s that I bought a Colares from Roswell for voice and it is impressive. Was looking for the ELA M 251 vibe and the Colares shares that "airy space" in its own way without a tube. Click the pad and it cleans up nicely. Rather remarkable. If you are interested in capturing "pro" sound, then take a look at what Roswell has to offer.

Fantastic sound and very versatile!
If you’re looking for a mic that packs a lot of punch for a very modest investment this is your mic! From drum overheads to acoustic guitars, to electric bass this mic is absolutely fantastic. A pair of Mini K47’s have become my go to overheads for drums. I’ve always been a large diaphragm condenser person for drum overheads but sometimes LDC’s don’t have the snappiest transient response. Well the Mini K47 gives the best of both worlds...fullness and great transient response. It’s a pretty rare occasion that they are not my overheads of choice. No matter what the style of music. You can’t go wrong with a pair of these mics!

Should NOT sound this good for this price...or at this size!
I got turned on to these amazing mics by a buddy of mine who lent me a pair. I put them up on my grand piano - still one of my favorite tests for microphones. I was quite surprised by how easy it was for me to get a great tone, and how full and even the frequency response was, especially from a mic that size!I've also used the pair with great results on my Leslie 145 cabinet.

You need these in your mic locker
I heard about these microphones via Warren Huart's Produce Like a Pro YouTube channel. I purchased the matched pair to use as drum overhead mics. Since getting them I have not only used them for that, I've used them to record acoustic guitar, mandolin, as tom mics and it's my go to mic for vocals. Definitely the Swiss army knife of microphones. You need them in your mic locker.
