Newer version.
I purchased this unit to replace a previous model, which fell apart. Works every bit as well. Yes, it occasionally cuts out during a phone call but I can deal with that. Reluctant to purchase, initially, because of the no return policy. It will work with TruTone hearing aids, which are made by Signia.

It has to be Reset be the Audiologist Often
I have Signia hearing aids. This Streamline Mic 1.1 worked great for two months. The sound quality is mono in both ears which is understandable. The hearing aids are not stereo earbuds. I could live with that. It was nice not having to take out my hearing aids and use my stereo headset for listening to podcast or simple media via my Macbook Air. The Streamline Mic was good for that. I was happy. After two months, the Signia Streamline Mic began cutting on and off in ten seconds intervals. I reset the device and it continues. It even does that if I use the Mic feature on the device. Signia Tech Support stated that there is a firmware update for my hearing aid that corrects this problem. I have scheduled an appointment.UPDATE OCT 9th, 2023:I did the firmware update on my hearing aids. My audiologist will not reset the Streamline Mic because I didn't purchase it from him. I have to pay him. Didn't know this before I purchased this on Amazon.Volunteer Hearing is the vendor of this unit. They went way "beyond the call of duty" and replaced my unit even though I have had it for more than 60 days. The new unit works great. Please remember, if the unit has a problem it needs to be reset via the software that the audiologist has. You cannot "factory" reset it. That reset is only for removing Bluetooth device. It does not remove the bonding with the hearing aid.UPDATE: Nov 7,2023Now, my right hearing aid won't connect to the device. I need the audiologist to reset it again. This is too much! If I could return this unit, I would. I don't recommend purchasing this device.Signia should have designed it so that the user can factory reset it. I can do that with all my other technology.

Works, but has several issues
I bought this for use with a new Android phone I planned to purchase. My Signia (TruHearing) hearing aids work with my current iPhone but will not stream to Android devices, and this was supposed to take care of that issue by working as a bridge between the hearing aids and the Android phone. The good news is that they do work, and work reasonably well for streaming. While I don't have the Android phone yet I have connected it to my iPhone (as a trial, and turned off the hearing aid connection) and I can use it for streaming and for making phone calls. The sound is as good as my previous direct connection and it seems to do what it is supposed to do. However there are some serious issues.First, once you pair it to your hearing aids you cannot unpair it without going to a hearing aid specialist and having them poke around in the hearing aid software. The pairing connection is stored in the hearing aid memory and cannot easily be set to unpair. For me this means that when I ended the trial and turned the hearing aid connections back on on my iPhone my hearing aids would no longer automatically pair to the phone because the hearing aids were now paired to the StreamLine Mic. I now have to manually make the connection at the start of each day. They still work, but it is annoying.Second, the battery in the device is small and when the charge gets low the device starts to lose a good bluetooth connection, and that means that streaming and phone calls become hit-and-miss until the device is recharged. So streaming may break down in the middle of a call until it reconnects. The battery takes a relatively long time to recharge and I may end up using a charging block to keep the device charged. And, as far as I know, there is no easy way to replace the battery.Third, although the description says that the device comes with a lanyard I did not receive one, nor did I receive the soft bag that the description said was supposed to be included. I did get a nice little case, but it has no way to attach to a belt or around my neck. My device also has no good way to attach a lanyard even if one had been included in the box.The device is small and light, and easy to lose, and at $200+ it is an expensive piece of hardware to have to replace, so some way to keep it around my neck would have been very helpful. All in all it does what it says it will do, and it does it reasonably well, but the cons are also significant. Given that it is the only device that I am aware of that works with the Signia hearing aids I guess I should be glad it is available at all. Three stars.

Charge doesn't last a full day.
It works great with my hearing aids. Easy to Bluetooth with them. It's lightweight and maintenance is easy. I am so happy with them. THE only CON: is the charge doesn't last all day if using it with phone, as I do to listen to books on my phone. That's because I have severe tinnitus and listening to a book or music to keep the tinnitus at bay. I highly recommend this microphone.

Glitchy with non-Apple Prodcuts
I've had mine for 6+ years. Battery needs replaced but unsuccessful with getting any response from Signia about replacing the battery. Sometimes the phone audio is choppy and hard to understand - restarting the mic or phone's bluetooth will sometimes correct the problem. Intermittently, you will lose left or right audio. It just comes and goes. If you are not an Apple fan, I suggest staying away from Signia hearing aids and looking for something that works with regular bluetooth. From my understanding, Apple uses a special codec or something and Streamline Mic converts regular audio to this special Apple codec for the hearing aids. I've put up with it because there is nothing else on the market for Signia hearing aids. So, when I need to replace mine I will most likely avoid Signia.

Just a wonderful product and the customer service is so nice.
This was a gift for my husbands birthday and he really liked it, but needed something more to add allot of things he needed to. It is really great product to pair with your cellphone to make it adaptable for hands free talking with Signa Hearing Aids. We had to return it and the customer service was so kind to let us and refund us. Thank You for that, I have told so many Veterans about this device I hope they will buy it from you to help them.
