Good cable, after so much searching I decided to try this, great size and quality, bought it twice now, will use it again 👍

Bought a 50m reel of 0.5mm 2 core - A bit surprised by the cable thickness - can this really carry 11 A ?Wanting a good quality low resistance cable run for garden features/lighting- will soon find out if it’s up to the job.

A little thinner than I was expecting.This could be an advantage as long as it doesn't heat up too much as a result.

I ordered the cable described as flat 2 core, 1mm2, 16.5A cable. It looks to be quality flex. One issue that really needs to be sorted is that the drum holding the 10m of flex has two labels, one rating at 5A the other at 16.5A. This is crazy and could be a potentially dangerous ambiguity if the cable was indeed 5A when a higher current draw is required of it. I had to resort to counting the conductor strands which I found to be 32, matching the 1mm2 spec listed on the Amazon product page as 32/20 which does indeed give a 1mm2 conductor section. The rating of electrical items should be clear and unambiguous and as I say, this needs rectifying hence my 3 star rating.

product was pretty good and easy to fit in tight spaces as wiring up my lorry lights which i was happy about the only down fall is the black coating is hard to remove with wire strippers
