Good Bulb at Great Price
I have a home theater setup that uses this bulb in the projector. The brightness and color temperature is as good or better than the more expensive brands of bulb. The 50 hour lifespan seems to be an accurate average after having used these bulbs for about a year and is comparable to other alternatives. So far I have had no defective bulbs. For the price it can't be beat.Remember to NEVER touch the actual bulb in the center of the reflector with fingers or anything else for that matter or you will severely cut down your bulb lifespan. This holds true for ALL halogen bulbs. Handle by the outside of the reflector or the base to ensure you get the most out of your bulb.

It worked as suggested. It was very bright. I should have ordered the 300 watt bulb. The spot light I used this in took up to a 410 watt bulb. It was the short throw that made this bulb to bright...my fault. Otherwise, this bulb performed well.

Lights out!!!
One bulb lasted for 1 hour and the other never worked. I think it's crappy too that it's $4.95 shipping for each bulb when they came in 1 tiny box with both in there. There is no way it cost 10 bucks to ship those bulbs. I am not a big online shopper for reasons like this. I will not shop amazon again.

These are excellent! The price is what caught my eye. I bought a few on my initial purchase just to try out. They were fabulous. They were the same, if not better, than the big name brand bulb that costs $35.00 ea. Well satisfied.
