Doesn't seem to work!
Doesn't seem to work! Opened the package, got comfy in the hammock, lit one to burn right next to me but got plenty of mosquito bites.

Can't Recommend
While they do repel mosquitos, they create so much smoke that it's hard for people to be around them. And they burn very quickly, even in generally still conditions. There are larger ones for sale that work better, are less noxious to humans, and will burn for hours at a time.

In pieces :-(
About half of the sticks in the box were broken

I absolutely love the scent
I absolutely love the scent. Here's the thing- they are tiny and burn fast if there's even a little bit of wind. When I received them, 1/4 of them were broken in half, the box had the lid open and was dented. They can still be used if you have a cone holder or other placement. I will research to see if they carry larger sticks and the price reasonable. These lil guys are out in 20 mins.

Kryptonite for Mosquitoes!
These sticks are so effective, that I don't even have to light them. The mosquitoes act as if they are kryptonite!

World record set
We were in deep woods Minnesota - and the world conference for mosquitoes, by mosquitoes, was meeting at our cabin. I took these down to the lake shore to try and get my dose of Minnesota water contemplation fearing the mosquitoes would win and I'd have to go back inside. But no, this incense was burning at my side. I lit a fire too and didn't have to sit in the smoke of it to be mosquito free. I also sprayed my ankles and shoes with a DEET concentration to keep them from gathering in the grass. I"m pretty darn impressed that the incense help as much as it did and the scent was very tolerable, unlike other brands I have used. I spent several evenings outside, mosquitoes loudly buzzing, and didn't get a single bite. That is a world record for me.

Nice scent, but not long-lasting.
These seem to work nicely, and they smell good (not overwhelming or chemically), but they don't last very long. I'm going through them twice as fast as I thought I would since I burn about 2 each time I sit outside during prime mosquito snacking time. The little holder went missing (not sure if it was accidentally thrown away or what) so I bought another, which I recommend doing if you get these.

It’s so-so
Packaging was fine - no broken piecesThe smell is just ‘smoke’ not a hint of lemongrass or citronellaThe quantity of smoke is ok; if you are downwind of it or if there is no breeze these seem to make a good cloud...but gnats and others still get thru
